Venus Flytrap nastier than a black jelly bean!
Esham has been making wicket raps for almost 30 years as an underground rap legend and inventor of acid rap. A very influential artist who has inspired other musicians in a few different genres. Esham always evolves his style with each release and loves experimenting with new beats and styles. This album Venus Flytrap is no exception and has a lot of great songs on it. The theme song for the movie suspiria by goblin is behind the song Higgs Bosin it's awesome. And Bath salts is dope as well. Intermittent fasting also fresh. I am glad I got this. And look at the cool album art.

Bottom line, if you're a fan you will enjoy this album. On the best tracks, E is in classic, Closed Casket & Dead Flowerz form.Keep in mind there are more than 30 tracks, so EVERY single track is not fire... BUT - real fans know Esham and how his albums go..I don't regret copping this album one bit, I can't wait for the next one to drop.

Esham The Unholy is back on the track!!!
Venus Flytrap is the best rap album in 2012. It has dope oldschool beats mixed with dubstep. After few years of bad records like A-1 Yola, Esham is back in his finest form!!!Try If you dare but don't later cry cuz the wicked s*** will never die!!!!

One of esham's best yet! Amazing cd. I listen to this CD over and over again.i hope he ain't really retiring. His most recent releases are his best imo. I love the crazy beats and lyrics

Very pleased with this CD, I bought it for my Fiancé, and he was extremely happy because this CD is hard to find.

its just okay...great beats though
it probably just needs to be listened to more. but so far not the best Esham album yet, the beats however are good.

This album is the best album of 2012, no doubt. Ain't no one on E's level. Could possibly be his last studio album, defiantly worth the buy.

To be studied like a Dead Sea Scroll
Rumored to be Esham's last album when it was released. A rumor now thankfully squashed by Esham himself. Here E experiments with a lot of Dub Step beats and of course his usual vast array of movie samples and genre mashing. Like every Esham album, it will take many, many listens to fully understand and appreciate the genius of Esham's priceless blessings contained within.
