I purchased two units directly from Amazon. We live right next to the beach, and humidity levels are through the roof. So these little beasts did wonders to our sinuses and overall comfort in our two story home. I placed a unit in each of the large bedrooms upstairs (and now I'm thinking of buying a 3rd and 4th for the 3rd bedroom and downstairs living room). Since not everything is perfect, I'm listing some pros and cons below. Yet, despite the cons, this is most definitely a 5-star product, hands down.Pros:● Super Effective: This machine is fantastic at pulling moisture from the air. The dehumidifier started to noticeably reduce the humidity in our bedrooms (with the bedroom door closed) within 4 hours of starting. Within a day, the humidity dropped 10%. Within 4 days, it dropped 20% (from 75%) and continued to be maintained between 50-55% from that point onwards (as long as we regularly empty out the tank whenever we notice it filling up)● Humidity Target: You can set a humidity level target to switch off once reached. When the humidity increases a bit above the intended target, the machine will automatically switch back on.● Timer (On/Off): Has a timer (based on time of day) to switch on and off (in case you want it off while sleeping) - I've kept it on 24 hours a day for 3 complete months now, no issues● Emptying out the Tank: Water collection container (tank) REALLY easy to pull out, dump out, and reinsert into the machine. When the alarm beeps or you notice the machine stopped and see the respective message on the LCD screen, pull out the tank, empty out the water, and slide it back in. You can also visually check the water level in case you want to empty it out before bedtime rather than wait for the indicator. There's a little transparent window on the tank for you to quickly spot the water-fill level. Just be sure to wipe the bottom of the compartment with a tissue or towel to quickly dry up any dripping water before re-inserting the tank after dumping the water out.● Water Tank Cover: Water tank has a cover on it to minimize splashing while walking to the sink/tub to empty it out● Drain Hose Included: Option to route the condensed water directly into a drain (if you have one close by) instead of using the tank would save you from a need to empty out the tank● Repurposing the Condensate Water: Condensed Water from the tank (condensate) can be used to wash out your patio or car, or even poured into your toilet tank. Do NOT drink it, bathe in it, use it for your pets or water edible plants -- the tank water MAY contain trace metals that are hazardous to your health. I could not find any literature on this specific model's condensate composition, and until I or anyone else does, better to be safe than sorry.● Speeds Up Air Drying: Can be used to dry wet towels, clothes, etc. SUPER fast -- but you need to hang whatever you're drying about a foot or two away from the machine● Dust filter: A dust filter that is easily removed to vacuum clean (or even wash... just make sure it's completely dry before putting it back) is found in the back of the unit. Just make sure that the unit isn't up close against the wall to ensure proper airflow.Cons:● Sound: Refrigerator-like low-tone humming (that's because of the condensation mechanism). But really, it's not so bad, especially if you have central air-conditioning. We got used to it after a few days and actually notice when it's switched off (i.e., need to empty out the water tank).● Tank Capacity: The 4.6 Liter (1.2 US Gal) tank fills up every 8-12 hours and needs to be emptied out (but considering that we live in a high humidity area, that's really not so bad).● Warm Air: Blows out warm air when it's working hard. But this is not so bad considering that our home is temperature controlled. In fact, the warm air is really pleasant on colder mornings.As I mentioned earlier, despite the cons, the Stadler is a stellar product. Can't wait to get my hands on two more units.

This product was wonderful to start with, but then it just stopped working after having it for only 12 weeks!There is no troubleshooting information in the manual or on google search for the product. Very disappointing and frustrating, total waste of a lot of money spent on this product, and now after care service to be found anywhere!

Used it in a dressing room full of wooden cabinets. Humidity was high and caused problems. After using this machine, the humidity level went down based on an external humidity meter.It is silent and collects a full tank of water daily.

Very very noisy. It’s not possibile to keep it on in the bedroom during the night.

100% not worth it. It was placed in a bedroom and it showed 65%% humidity, we turned it on and after 2 days it showed 72% - which means it either dont work or it sending out more water in the room? Did not make sense.

This is one of the best investment I’ve made for my home.I’ve been using Albert for 3 months now and I don’t have to worry about my furniture, expensive gadgets and walls. Albert takes care of the humidity and saves things in the house.I strongly recommend Albert for anyone and for any size home/rooms.Albert is worth an investment and I’m sure to add in more of Stadlerform products to my home.

Our flat is located near the beach area, and most of the time the humidity is so high. A friend told me about this and asked me to try this product and it really help us specially on the smell of our room. Now we feel like we are breathing fresh air from outside. So fresh and clean.

This product helps our problem with molds. On the 1st week of using this product, we noticed that the musty smell started to fade away. I really recommend this product.
