Finding a balance between efficiency and eco-friendliness in my daily routine has been a goal of mine ever since I became aware of how much humans impact the environment. These cups are an excellent example of a product that achieves just that: the right efficiency and eco-friendliness. They arrived in a presentable box with useful information about compostability, and contained the cups in separate packs.The bagasse lids fit nicely over the cups to create a nice fit that let me drink my coffee without worrying it will spill or drip. What's more, these bagasee lids give the whole cup a very "earthly" feel and look, and have earned the compliments and interest of several of my colleagues. The green printing on the cups is subtle yet stylish and transmits the right message: "Earth is in Our Hands".Finally, the integrated sleeves work well at keeping my coffee hot and my hands cool, and eliminate the hassle of carrying a secondary sleeve.I've bough products from Living Balance before, and they continue to earn my loyalty. These cups are much higher quality than typical disposable cups, with the added benefit of having compostable materials. I would highly recommend them for the price point. Impressive cups! I bought for taking to coffee meetings where I don’t want to carry my reusable cup all day. For being made from entirely compostable materials I am pleasantly surprised at how well these cups hold up. I left my coffee in here for 2 hours accidentally and the cup did not absorb the liquid and fall apart - it’s also slightly double layered so it keeps my drinks warmer than the traditional paper cup.It’s not quite as firm as a Starbucks cup, but it doesn’t need the extra cardboard sleeve on the outside, which is nice. The tops seal well and are a bit firmer than the cup itself.Overall, this is my first experience with compostable cups, and I would not hesitate to buy these again.

I wanted disposable coffee cups. These work. I wouldn't want to leave a liquid in them for hours or anything, because they are paper. But they're not flimsy. The lids are kind of cardboard. I don't like sipping through them much, but they work. I'm happy for the price.

Since last year, I've made a conscious decision to steer away from plastic and Styrofoam and into compostable products. I've purchased compostable cups from other brands before, but can say with certainty that Living Balance has some of the best quality I've come around. I love that this cup and the lid are compostable. I had them for a party I had and we had hot mulled cider in them. I have several cups and it did not leak or get soft. Then, after the party, they all went into my compost bin. Definitely a win-win for me.

I've been using these cups for a couple of days now for my hot coffee in the morning and have been quite happy with them. Even with boiling water, the cups are still okay to the touch. A bit hot as expected. However, your beverage stays hot longer. This was tried with boiling water. So coffee is not as hot. Great cups!
