I purchased this doll for a friend who is an enthusiast of Korean historical shows of all kinds.It turned to be a perfect gift as now it is occupying honorable place at her home where she can often look and admire the beauty of the Doll that in some magical way connects her with the mood and era of the movies and shows on the theme.The doll is very beautiful. It is simlar size to Barbie doll. comes on permanent doll stand as you see.The stand is very discretly attached so you don't see it if you turn the doll around, you don't see how it is attached as it is attached under the skirt of the dress.The base is a solid base that provides sturdy support for the doll once out of the box. It comes attached so no need for any kind of assembly. The doll is adorable, Her face is pretty detailed. Not to the point of barbie repression but expressive enough not to be lacking. The hair is beautifully done with high detailing and care. The jacket and skirt are separate pieces and made of different pieces of fabrics. Fabric is nice and the colors are beautiful and saturated. The fabric color is a color of the thread so it is not painted one sided fabric but actually thread fabric color. It looks like silk. I assume it is a stain of sort but it looks rich and gorgeous. The doll is made very beautifully.THE DETAILING of fabric is amazing. The printed part on the jacket and the skirt are highly detailed to perfection done with lots of effort. The front ribbon is actually embroidered! wow!The flower that she holds in her hand is a nice touch.It is a great gift for anyone who is either a doll collector, a child that loves history of the world and learn about different cultures, a person who likes all things Asian themed and anyone who need a nice decor touch for some space that this doll would fit in style-wise.I like things that are well made and well priced. This doll is exactly that. It is adequately priced to the quality and quality is very nice.For some reason the pictures do not do justice neither to the colors of the fabric nor the expression of the face. In person the fabric are spectacular and the face is very sweet looking. Nicer then in picture that is kind of rigid. She surely has more personality in person. She truly resembles those beautiful ladiesof the bygone era in the Korean shows from the old dynasties.The doll is very nice. Good purchase.
