Lamy AL-star 038 Fountain Pen, Aluminium Fountain Pen in Azure Colour with Transparent Grip and Steel Nib, Nib Size M

First of all it is Lamy. It is already beautiful pen but also with ink cartridges it is user friendly.

I’m on my third Lamy fountain pen. Colour is metallic light blue/grey

Fits nicely in the hand and the nib glides over the ppage.

This was my 3rd attempt at getting a fountain pen from Amazon EU. The first delivery they gave me a German Software Programming book, the second they gave me a ballpoint pen but eventually got it right on the third order albeit the cardboard packaging was way oversized to hold the Lamy Al-Star square sleave for the pen. The minimal Lamy cardboard tube the pen came in was battered and squished. Luckily, the Lamy is a solid pen and made of aluminium.The Lamy Al-Star is a great pen and comes in many colours & Nib combinations, hence the need to order what I needed from Amazon EU & not Amazon UK. The Quality of Lamy always shines through and is a reliable writer and a go-to for everyday writing with your choice of interchangeable Lamy Z50 Steel nib sizes. Well Done Lamy!
