Loved that it came with a roll of trash bags and is light weight and fits in my bathroom space between toilet and sink counter. Reasonable price and I would recommend it if you do not want a foot pedal to open the lid.

I am so pleased with this small trash bin. My dog has started taking paper out of the former can I had which lead to her getting hold of a bleach wipe I had disposed of and she got very sick. With this can she can no longer get into this can. It fits perfectly in the small space between the tub and toilet which is very narrow.

My sister had one of these because her dog kept getting stuff out of the trash. I liked it so well I went home and ordered my own.I love it. Its clean & sleek looking for a guest bathroom and hides trash nicely.However, this one was a bit smaller than I expected, or than the one she had. I am sure that is my fault though, there are measurements. So just know it is a little on the small side but functions well & looks great!

Overall I am grateful to have this slim, attractive latching trashcan in my bathroom. The mechanism is simple and springs open when you press the rainbow circle. I must use it four times a day and it remains snug and odor proof.The can came with a roll of 25 replacements, and I easily found more (500 for about $3) online.The caveat is that the little orange latch mechanism stopped working after about 9 months of use. At 4-5 unlatchings a day, that's approximately 1200 uses.It was easily replaced with the extra latch included. The Joybos company does not stock additional latches. However, I've found additional latches listed online and very economical prices and will get them there.

We bought one over 2 yrs ago and it always worked well even in our damp bathroom. Someone put the lid on too hard causing the battery holding lid to come loose and drop into the trash bag. After that, the batteries wouldn't stay tightly in. One day the batteries drop out again, but my 82 yro father put the batteries in backwards and caused it to overheat and you could smell an electrical burnt smell. I put the batteries back in correctly but it never worked after that. We loved using this trash can so much that we immediately bought another one. The new one is a bit larger and four (4) AA batteries instead of just two (2) so has a bigger battery lid cover. On the former one, the batteries lasted nearly a yr. I decided to take a strip of duct tape and tape the battery door lid so it wouldnt drop in the trash bag again. Hopefully this new one will work as well and last longer than the former one did.

Review update:Seller reached out to me and send the replacement trash can. It works as expected. Thanks for the fast response!Since I have no use of the old trash can, I disassembled it to find out what went wrong.The root cause of the problem is the circuit control board, now fairly rusted, due to the lack of proper waterproof sealing. See attached photos for details. The trash can is advertised as waterproof, in reality it is not. There are holes around the inside of the case, moisture can easily sneak in and damage the circuit board. I would strongly recommend manufacturer add proper seam to the casing, to make it truly waterproof.============================== Original Review ===============================I had this bathroom trash can for little less than 6 months now. Initially I liked its design and function a lot. It fits in the tight space of my bathroom perfectly. The first set of batteries lasted three months, and I was quite impressed with its "long battery life".Then all sorts of issues started surfacing, after 3 months of usage.The first problem is the motion sensor. Its detection range gets weaker and weaker overtime. Now I have to virtually touch the lid to get it to open.The second problem is the fact the trash can is not properly sealed, thus not waterproof. After each shower, there are water condensations around the battery door, overtime it compromise the life of the battery. See attached photos for the battery compartment for details.And then the battery life gets shorter and short after each replacement. The first set of battery lasted 3 months. The second set lasted 1 months. Now I have to replace the batteries every 3 days, which is ridiculous. I suspect it has something to do with the water condensation at the battery compartment. This product is advertised as "waterproof", in reality it is not.Unless you only want to keep it for a few months, otherwise I do not recommend buying this trash can, for the issues mentioned above.

I had a very small area next to my bathroom toilet. This solved my problem of being an open container halfway and then giving me space to set something on top in a confined area. The top comes off easy so that I can put my liner in for convenience. I would definitely buy this product again. It’s a little bit expensive for the size of it but since it meets the need, I’m willing to pay that.

Are they not supposed to come with the bags?

Well made and sturdy. Very clean looking keeping the garbage out of sight. I like the colour as well as the fact that it doesn’t require batteries or an electrical connection to be functional. Arrived before the expected delivery date. A bit pricey but worth it.

Did not come with the rolls of bags it was meant to.
