Sturdy, Easy To Assemble, Infinitely Versatile
The media could not be loaded. Â I have to admit, I do not grow tomatoes, I do however grow some really nice looking Cana plants but they have been growing faster than the stem system can support the last few years. I saw these and thought "That is exactly what I need" and it is. The plants are still getting started but I wanted to have something in place to give them needed support and this cage set was the perfect thing since you can pretty much configure it in any design you wish as long as they can connect. As you can see by my pictures mine was not exactly a standard configuration but I am expecting them to grow fast and I will add more pieces as needed (or buy another set even) but I think with all the parts they gave me and the cable ties I will be able to support the longer/taller limbs in a manner that will prevent breakage. So for simplicity, values, quality this has to be 5 Stars

Very sturdy and great for already established plants
I bought the larger version of these at a local store before ordering this set. The local one was a little more expensive, but appears to be exactly the same. I needed several, so I bought 2 sets of these to make 6 cages.I like this style of cage better than traditional metal cages because they're much easier to store over the winter. The smaller size is great for my pepper plants. Unfortunately, I didn't get these out before half the pepper plants were on the ground from the weight of their peppers, but these hold them up great.Setup is pretty simple. Put one stake in the ground, clip a cross member, find where the next stake goes, put that stake in, clip cross members to each stake, find where the 3rd stake goes, put that stake in, clip the last stake to the cross members, done. I did not use the extensions or do any different configurations. Just the 3 post cage... I imagine if you're planning to use the extensions you should just get the larger cages.I'll be buying a few more in the spring. We're going to throw away our old, cheap, bent metal cages...

Simple enough- until you try and do more than tomatoes.
When you're just doing the simple triangle tomato cage it's a dream. It's sturdy enough & it keeps the plant from going too crazy. It was when it attempted to get another pack & make supports for climbing veggies that I decided I would only use these for tomatoes next year.As soon as they get above weight height their sturdiness plummets.

Can’t withstand rain storms/windy weather
Used these for the entire summer and did not love unfortunately. They do the job at a basic level, but anytime we had a storm, I came outside to find the structure broken with tomato vines on the ground. Great idea, but not sturdy enough for my needs

nice, sturdy and functional
The vertical sticks are metal tubes dipped in a nice and sturdy plastic material. Very solid. The horizontal parts are plastic and they clip to the sticks very well.It can hold big tomato plants without a problem.Multiple arrangements makes the product very versatile.

Have worked great and will purchase again
These plant stakes have been awesome! In the past I used mostly metal stakes and twine for various vegetables and flowers. After a ton of research, I switched to these this year. I have found them to be very sturdy, surviving lots of wind in our location, and even a hurricane. I've only had them about six months, but I have not found the plastic to discolor in the sun or degrade yet. Like other reviews state, be aware that these are essentially, "build your own adventure." You get long stake pieces and joints so you make a custom stake system to your needs. I found this to be amazing while my tomatoes and cucumbers took off this year. For plants like peonies, these would be great since you can adjust the heights of the supports as your flowers grow. Not only do I recommend purchasing these, I will definitely purchase more next year.

Poor Quality
Wanted to try something that looked better than the standard metal wite cone shaped cages. The color and construction of these looked great. Went to set them up today and found that they are very flimsy. A majority of the plastic poles are mishapen and/or bent. This causes the whole cage to be crooked, uneven, and overall unappealing. Any attempt to straighten them just broke the plastic even with next to no force. They dont include any extra or replacement pieces either. Hopefully I have better luck next year, but for now its time to dig out my old metal cones.

Tops Fall Apart
I have used the “3 stakes with arms” type tomato cages for years, and really like them. In the past each stake was one 4-foot piece. This time, it seemed that all of my options on Amazon had 2-foot stakes that had to be joined together to form a four-foot stake. I understand that these are probably cheaper to manufacture and ship. Unfortunately, it makes the cages nearly useless. The reason you put cages around tomato plants is to prevent them from falling over when they get tall and heavy with fruit. Once in a while, with a very heavy plant, I’ve had a cage fall over a bit so that one leg has to be pushed back into the soil. But with these two-part stakes, the bottom parts stayed in the soil, and the tops just fell apart. The tops came undone from the bottoms, and there was no way to just rejoin them without damaging the plants. In the future, I will insist only buy cages with one-piece stakes, even if it means a trip to the garden center.
