Marabu Alcohol Ink Set - 42 Colors, Fast Drying and Permanent - Vibrant and Metallic for Resin Art, Paper, Tumblers

I have nothing negative to say about the inks themselves. They work on alcohol ink "paper" (let's be honest, paper is tree pulp and this isn't paper, it's plastic), they work on glass, they work in resin, and the pigmentation is absolutely gorgeous.The box... let's pretend the box doesn't exist. Buy a nice sturdy container which doesn't have a flimsy cardboard separator barely tall enough to keep the bottles upright even when they aren't in transit across the country. The lid doesn't close all that well, either. Maybe mine was just especially wonky, but wow, such a weird place to skimp on quality. If they'd gone up a grade on the cardboard it would have been fine.

The 1 star is for packaging as they just arrived today UPS. The inks were completely scattered in the box and several bottles didn’t even have the lids on them. I’m hoping the ink quality is better than the packaging. For a $109 for this product, I expect better. Wish I would have snapped a pic of the mess.Changed rating due to the ink quality. It’s very bright and vibrant. Worked beautifully on my tumblers.

All inks came in perfect condition. Nice well rounded set of colors.

Even after storing these for so long because of a move these inks have worked wonders!!! I just make sure to shake them good from time to time to get everything mixed up from sitting there! I cannot wait to get back to being able to use these!

I bought these alcohol inks back in February 2024. I never thought to open the box up and check to verify all the colors were there until today (I was working on a big project) which is now August and realize that after reconciling the colors with the list that came in the box I was missing a color 516 Glitter Blue-Green-Gold, so check before your time for return window close. However I do love the product. I would have given it a 5 star if all colors were there. The price you pay for 42 colors you want all 42 colors. And again I do love the product and would recommend for anyone to purchase. I give the product 4.5 stars

Great quality, easy to open and drop the ink, without having to squeeze too hard. They're also easy to control how much you add.

Love the coverage and clarity of the inks

My Wife had primarily been using mica powders to color resin for little crafting projects that she does. We mostly use resin and epoxy for custom gifts to give out during the holidays, or for special occasions. The price seems a bit steep. But once you start using the colors, you'll understand why. She's able to get perfect color blends, with very deep pigmented shades. She's not super thrilled about the actual applicators themselves, but otherwise happy with what's in the bottles.
