The king' s angels: high treason in Henry's court
Looking forward to the next two books. A super read again from the author. A favourite period of history of mine.Jackie Bailey

Proof-reading required.
A reasonable historical fiction centred around the Tudor court and in particular, Thomas Cromwell, Henry VIII and the King's Great Matter but rather spoilt by the many spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, poor layout and whole paragraphs making no sense whatsoever - did anyone read this before it went to publication? I don't think I can be bothered to read any more of this series - if it was in printed book form, I would be highlighting the errors. Bit of a shame, really, because the actual novel has the makings of a good read but I found the mistakes too distracting.

Definately recommend
What can I say except another great read. Can't put these down once I start reading them.

A Good Story Spoiled by a Poor Proofreader
I have read all of this series so far and I do like the stories. Generally, they are entertaining and engaging and do evoke the right period atmosphere. However, and herein lies the reason that I will not be reading any further instalments in this series, the pitiful standard of proofreading comes perilously close to ruining the whole experience. The missed punctuation is annoying but forgivable. However, the typographical errors which mean that a sentence is often bisected by half a paragraph drawn from further on are far more damaging. It rapidly becomes really disruptive and often feels like I am reading a draft rather than a production copy which is, frankly, unforgivable. Such a shame that a good series of stories has been sabotaged by such a basic oversight.
