This poker is awesome! I bought it as a gift for my husband and it is his favorite toy while camping. Since it's four-feet long you can easily poke the fire and move logs around without having to risk burning your hand or even moving from your seat. The mouthpiece feature for blowing the fire is awesome! There is a plastic piece on the inside that allows you to blow on the fire, while preventing any smoke or heat to burn your mouth. Blowing on the fire with it is also very efficient. Once when we were camping, I was able to revive a fire pit that consisted of only a few embers to a blazing fire just by blowing on the embers with this fire stoker. It is very useful for keeping fires going longer and for making the embers hot for the perfect smores temperature. Another thing I enjoy is blowing on the fire and watching how it makes the insides of the wood glow. It's beautiful! It may be a little expensive, but the stoker is very sturdy and I could see us being able to use this for the next 15 years without any problems. Even the plastic on the inside of the mouthpiece is thick and should be able to hold up for a long time. Overall, I've been very impressed by the quality of this stoker and I feel like I definitely got my money's worth. Excellent product!

This poker is great as it really allows me to reignite a dying fire by blowing air right on target even in my large fire pit. My fire pit is 5' in diameter so I would have to climb in the ashes to do what I can do with this poker. It is a great length for my purposes at 46" and is quite sturdy for my expectation. It is definitely not as sturdy as a solid metal poker of course. So I am mindful of that and don't use the poker as a lever against a rock or the side of the fire pit as I might if it was a solid metal poker. If you are after a super sturdy unbendable metal poker look elsewhere. But the utility of the blow hole and otherwise reasonably strong poker is great for me and I would definitely buy again. The hanging ring came off mine and Walden replaced the poker (once I sent them a couple pics)! Great customer service!

We use it for an outside firepit . Good material and heavy duty.

This pokerbis a beast. I use it in my solo stove and it works well. It may be a little tooing for my needs. But I'd rather have it too long than too short. The curved tip takes a bit to get used to as it's hard to get between the logs and side of the fire pit. But once you figure it out it's easy. I also like the ability to blow on the fire. As it's dying down it's fun to blow on the embers and watch them "dance" with the extra oxygen. It's a solid tool. One thing I was worried about looking at other pokers was a wiggle in the handle. I hate that. But this one does not wiggle at all. Very sturdy. I recommend.
