Easy to open and close with one hand
Need an everyday knife light enough to carry for package opening, gardening, cutting rope, etc. These fit well in my pocket, are pretty light, open and close easily one-handed and, at least initially, are very sharp. I don't carry the knife on a belt, so I removed the clip immediately. Needs a T7 head to remove, but came off easily. Good value and I chose the blue color to make it more visible when I put it down - I was always losing sight of the black knife I was using.

A Good Cheap Little Knife
I bought the chartreuse handle as much as the knife itself on a whim. I was pleased to determine the Albatross was a good cheap little knife. Outta the package it is very sharp. The knife opens and closes quickly. The blade length about right for every day carry. Since I use pocket knives for a variety of chores, I don't expect cheap ones to last long, but if you're a guy who carries a knife to pull it out and flick it open and never really use it as a tool, this one should last a long time.

Excellent Budget Knife
There's a big scratch or crack across the logo on the blade. Maybe it's supposed to be part of the logo? But it sure looks an awful lot like a big ol' gash in the steel.Aside from that, this knife is pretty decent but with a few drawbacks. The textured FRN is quite nice, giving the handles a little bit of grip. The size and shape of the handle is quite nice, and feels very comfortable in the hand. The liners on the inside of the handle are also well-rounded, without sharp edges. But the action of the pivot is rough and gritty, rough enough that the flipper cannot deploy the knife successfully. We'll see if it smooths out over time, but for now this knife is difficult to open.EDIT: The knife has since broken in, and the pivot is now *extremely* smooth and fidget friendly. The axis lock has similarly broken in to something that is very friendly and easy to use. For the cost, this knife has proven to be impressive!

Perfect
I bought this knife for my girlfriend. She shows cattle and needed something to cut open feed and haybales when I'm not there for her to use my knife. She also doesn't like my heavier knife and doesn't have deep pockets, so I started some research. I'm really into knives so I searched and did a lot of thinking about how she would want a knife. She needed something lightweight, smaller, easy to use, a firm lock, not too flashy, easy to clean, and had a clip for it. This knife checked off all those boxes! She loves her knife and has no complaints about the function, and neither do I. It is an affordable knife that has many good attributes that I would recommend to most. Not to mention how easy it is for me to sharpen, she's not that advanced on knives like I am, so I have to sharpen it from time to time. One of the easiest sharpening jobs i have had to do! she's had it for about a month now and I've just had to sharpen it for the first time after daily use.Summary, great knife, good value, she's happy. Thanks!

only one flaw (maybe two) but still a good knife
This is an inexpensive knife and I wouldn't expect it to compare to similar knives that cost much more. That being said, I have had back lock knives, liner lock knives, and one button lock knife (a Pyrite), but never an axis lock. I really thought I would like the button lock, but I didn't. (too hard to find the button) I thought this inexpensive knife would allow me to try the axis lock without spending too much. All in all I like it better than the button lock, but not as much as the liner lock. The Albatross looks quite nice. The blade is fine. The flipper kind of wimps out before the blade is completely open, but a flick of the wrist opens it the rest of the way easily. Not great, but not horrible. The only thing I really don't like is that the axis lock buttons are sharp. They do not feel good on the fingers. Not a big deal if you are only closing it once in a while, but not much fun to fidgit with.
