Russell Athletic Men's Short-Sleeve Cotton T-Shirt

Finally a T shirt that fits like the shirts back in the day; none of this "athletic cut" foolishness! And the 50/50 blend is actually softer than my 100% cotton shirts. The color is a great violet purple, the neck is not too tight and the sleeves are long enough to turn up as cuffs. I also bought the Watermelon Pink which is gorgeous and got me many compliments.FYI I am a plus size woman confined to a wheelchair, and so since I like a loose fit I ordered one size larger than I normally take. I think this shirt fits true to size. And the price cannot be beat. My only complaint is the very large tag at the back of the neck, come on Russell this after all the 21st century, everything's tagless these days. No real problem, just cut it off.

I bought a few of these as well as a few Fruit of the Loom t shirts. I like the colors of both brands. While the Russell's tend to run a few dollars more, depending on the color, they are also a bit higher quality in my opinion. The Fruit of the Loom t shirts are thinner and will shrink 4 to 5 inches if washed and dried on warm settings. But you can't beat Fruit of the Loom for price. If you need something to wear around the yard in the summer, something really casual, something to sweat in, then have a few of Fruit of the Loom t's. For something a next step up in quality but still a bargain then have a few Russell t's. The Russell's had very little shrink to them, compared to the Fruit of the Loom's. Both have their advantages, depending on your need for the day. I will buy more of both brands.

They wear out after a while

So far, it looks like a very good product. I immediately looked at all of the seams, as a different type of shirt I bought recently had a defective spot in a seam. These looked very good. I wore one of these shirts for the first time during my workout today, and it was very comfortable. Of course, a real test will be durability during wearing and washing. It will be a while before I can comment on that - but from what I have seen, I am expecting it to do well.

Nothing to dislike. I needed something to wear at the beach. It's exactly what I thought it would be.

I bought this shirt for my husband to wear to a gender reveal party. we were supposed to wear pink if you thought it was a girl and blue if you thought it was a boy. It arrived on time. And it looked great. It was a nice thick quality shirt. I lived the color. My husband's not much a pink wearing guy but I hope he does wear this shirt more he looked great in it and it's a nice shirt. Worked great for what we needed it for. Very happy with this purchase!

I found this shirt to be tight through the chest/shoulders,i purchased this shirt to wear under a 1/4 zip pullover and for that reason it will be fine but if i wanted to wear the t shirt alone i would have to order a size up..the shirt is of decent weight but its not a very soft shirt and has very little give ..glad i only spent 7 bucks..i will continue my search for a decent t shirt..

These shirts are simply the best. I had a shirt like this years ago and looked on the tag to make sure I could buy some more in different colors before I had to get rid of that one. That one had been my favorite shirt for 4 years. I found the other colors that I got to be the same high quality, great fit, and long lasting like the original. I really like the neck on these shirts. The neck seems to be a little lower than most necks on t-shirts that usually annoy me and feel like I am being choked all day. The colors are very consistent with the colors that are shown in the display photos. I tend to get these in a size xxl even though xl fits just fine. I like them to be a little bigger and looser.

I bought a number of these T-Shirts to use for casual wear and sometimes as workout shirts and have no complaints. The shirts fit as expected, the three colours I purchased (Dark Green, Black, and Navy) look true to the colours depicted on Amazon. The shirts have a thicker cotton feel to them and have survived through numerous experience ranging from basic daily, to going for a run, to hiking through thicker brush (where admittedly short sleeves weren't the best idea but the T-Shirts held up better than my arms). The colours have held true in the wash and there was only very minor shrinkage after running through a washer/dryer cycle. Exceptional value!

Good shirt, fits exactly as expected. Normally an XL, bought an XL fits as expected.Fits wider shoulders great, length just right at 6ft.Cut is good, fits well over chest, and doesn't balloon at bottom.Unsure about durability, collar stretch yet.

Bought for baseball , good quality overall good product.
