Pentel Refill Lead Blue (0.5mm) Medium 12 Pcs/Tube, 12 Tubes of Lead (PPB-5)

I am a pysanky egg artist and love this lead for sketching the designs onto my eggs. It doesn't smudge like pencil lead, and when the egg is ready to have the wax melted off there is no trace of the blue line left on the egg. A must for me to have plenty on hand. Yes, the lead is soft and can break easily. Just work with a short amount of the lead extending from the pencil and work with a light hand.

It's exactly what I expected. Great for sketching, most negative reviews probably do not have enough experience using this product. It requires a light rather delicate touch, and it takes some adjusting to get used to its overall feel.

Good lead that works well, bit brittle but that's likely due to it meant to be used lightly so it's fine. A useful lead if you're looking to do inking or similar and remove the blue sketchy lines in photoshop with the hue adjustment tool.My one complaint is the cost here is excessive, found these in a shop for less than half the price...so you gotta weigh convenience with more than double the cost. <=this is not factored into my score.

I wanted blue lead to write notes with for school but this is not the product. The lead does not erase easily and still leaves some color behind even if you try your hardest to erase it. It also breaks very easily which is annoying. Though, I’m not sure how well this would fare with drawing (what it’s more advertised to do) since it breaks so easily.

This was a bit darker blue than the last leads I had, but these were also a bit harder and broke a little less easily, so that was nice. The down side is that it doesn't erase as nicely. I use the mechanical pencil with the light blue leads to sketch out my ideas before I ink them and this is working for me, so I won't return them. I wish it erased a little easier, but they don't break as easily, so it's a decent trade off. I don't mean to be stingy, but a 5 star rating would have to mean I was 100% satisfied. This is a decent product, as advertised.

I have a PentelP205 dedicated to using just this blue lead. It is like magic. Blue lead always available in 0.5 mm form...Perfection, Pentel. Please make this product forever!

I must say my artist doods...This product , the Pentel 0.5 Blue Lead refill box was Not a a bad choice! Works just like any and other packs of blue led.I was worried about buying it ,given some negative reviews...perhaps some unfortunate circumstances ? Either way ,arrived on time ,works as it should and now i have plenty of back up lead should i need it.

The lead was so dry and brittle and it kept breaking every time I tried to write something. I thought that it was just that one piece of lead and tried another one from another little pack and it was the same. It’s got so bad that I just stopped using it. Regret buying it because I can’t even return it.

Totally happy ! Beautiful color and nice quality, this is the brand to go with if you’re looking for color leads, I tried some few others but they were too rigid or had a faint color

When I bought these, it was showing a massive discount almost 80% - that should have been the first warning.Expecting a 12 pack box to arrive, instead, I got an individual tube with 12 leads. Even at the 'discounted' rate of £7, this is still a rip-off. (Yes that means the original price for 12 leads was around £35! Outrageous.)

Lontano da insegnare niente a nessuno ma vorrei far riliflettere sul target di queste mine blu: bozze appena accennate con mano leggera per poi andar a definire il disegno modulando maggiormente la forza della mano con altri strumenti..se non siete a questo step non sono per voi.Ciao
