AUS10 Stainless Steel is very hard for edge retention - Dnifo Pairing Knife 3.5"
Received knife in a nice gift box with a plastic tip protector. A reviewer says the stainless stain is AUS10. If that is true then this is a great steel knife. The blade measures 3.2" tip to end of blade with a nice looking acid wash pattern design. A quick paper slice test I did on the spot passed with flying colors. First slice, one slice. See picture. This is the only way to test for sharpest. I will need to update after weeks of use to comment if the hardness of HRC 60-62 holds, that is extremely hard!

Great knives. Worth the price
My wife's favorite knife in the kitchen is a Shun Premier 6 inch utility knife so when I saw these knives I thought the 5 inch would be a good backup and for the price I ordered the paring knife as well. They arrived and were beautiful, so much so that when I visited my out-of-town family and found the knives at their bar couldn't cut a lime I order the utility knife and the chef knife for them. I already have too many chef knives for a home cook but loved the Dinfo Chef knife so much I came back to order one for myself. After one use it has taken my more expensive knife from it's #1 spot. My wife is still using the Shun 6 inch over the Dinfo 5 inch but I'm happy I have the set. Ive seen most of the reviews were for the smaller knives but don't pass up the chef knife, it's great.

Oh my lawd!!!
So I have done several reviews for this company before and was asked to check out this new paring knife. This Damascus steel paring knife is perfectly balanced, has a gorgeous handle, and cuts though just about anything! You can use it to cut with but also to peel with. The knife is sturdy, lightweight, and beyond beautiful. It's the perfect addition to my kitchen knife collection!

Would but again!!
It has the same shape handle as a shun classic so that’s good, fairly high quality steel/perfect blade shape. the handle is pretty cool and is probably tough enough to bring to work, I’d say it’s worth the $25.** update: After about six weeks I’m really starting to like this knife, a couple of swipes on the sharpening steel and sharper than it was out of the box every time. I think it’s a pretty high-quality blade.

Good value overall. Doesn't match the photos.
Disappointing that it doesn't look like the pictures. Sure, it's not an expensive knife, and no, the pattern being easily visible wouldn't make it cut any better, but faking the Danascus pattern for the photos is kind of dishonest. I wouldn't buy it again.***edit***After posting this review, the seller contacted me and asked what they could do to make it right. They have been very nice and attentive to my criticisms.I stand by my observation that the product doesn't look like the pictures. The Damascus pattern is there, only there is no contrast to it like you see in the photos. That's my only real criticism of the product. The knife itself is fine. It's well balanced and has a really nice, sharp edge. I like the distinctive handle, it looks good and feels good in my hand. For a $60 Chinese-made knife, it's a good value.
