Once you figure out that the color of your programming button determines its generation, and compatibility, this otherwise confusing task becomes a no brainer. The two remotes are made cheaply but come with a 2032 cell installed and have the same range as the $30 unit that the previous homeowner left me, which has some kind of brand name on it.Just like the listing indicates, these only work with Purple Button Chamberlain and compatible openers, not the old DIP switch style, or newer generationsSetup literally takes 5 seconds.The big contoured button makes it easy to find and push the button without looking, so you can stick this somewhere in your car that's inconspicuous and still hit the button in the dark without futzing around.Neat. I'm happy with it.

Working fine, Pairing is not hard. Everything is ok, only one thing I noticed, that if there is small vibration at the car, and clipped at the car visor, the button makes a small vibration noise.

I received my remote door opener and was able to program both units quickly and easily. I'm pleasantly surprised by their performance, especially given the inconsistent quality I've encountered on Amazon before. The range is excellent—comparable to my original Liftmaster remote.

It's odd but sometimes things just disappear, such as forks and spoons and ... garage door remotes. I have actually had four (two when the garage was new, and two replacements) and somehow we were down to just one. That doesn't work in a two-car household, so I went looking for a second round of replacements.I couldn't find the ones I'd bought years ago, but I did come across these remotes and they work perfectly. You do have to be sure the door opener is compatible (purple learn button) but after "training" these two replacement remotes, which took all of 90 seconds, I was good to go. Now both cars have a remote and we still have a spare because sooner or later we will need it.These remotes have batteries installed (but eventual replacement of the battery is easy) and they have a three-year warranty. The range is excellent. I am very content with this purchase. I have almost convinced myself to buy yet another pair just in case ...

Too many nights I have to check the garage door. I live in an apartment complex and usually have to step outside to make sure the door is closed. The button on this remote is more sensitive than the name brand. Accidentally tap it when removing it from my jacket pocket or when it’s in my pocket and gets pushed from bending over. Door is opening or closing on me. Had to use duct tape over the button to stiffen it and make it harder to accidentally push.
