Little Tikes Ultimate Cook Kitchen

We ordered this a few days ago. It came in the mail today. I was hesitant to open the box because I assumed I would need my husband to help put it together. But my kids wanted to play with it so I gave it a go. I assembled it in less than 30 minutes using only a screwdriver. Very easy to put together!I wanted a kitchen that would be big enough so both kids could play together but not huge so that it would take up too much space in the room. This is the perfect size!I read some reviews that you should mount it to the wall because it would fall over. I don't find that to be true so far. My kids are 4 and 1 (16 months old). The baby loves it and has been pulling on it and everything and it's been perfectly fine.The only thing I've noticed so far is it's sometimes difficult to get the stove top to light up/sizzle. You have to have the pot/pan on the burner just right.This was a great buy and the girls love it!! Definitely worth the money!

Bought this for my 2+ yr. old grandson who loves anything to do with cooking in the kitchen. He was crazy about this unit right out of the box. Easy to assemble. It needs to be up against a wall as it does have a tendancy to fall over backwards. It does slide on hardwood floors too. All of the parts were there. The crackle simulator (needs 2ct. x AA batteries) on the stove top for pots and pans worked fine. Fit and finish was as good as I expected for a big plastic toy. Remember to buy some extra play food for more enjoyment. If your 2-3 yr. old child likes to copy you cooking in the kitchen then they will like this toy.

I ordered this for my son's birthday and he loves his new little kitchen set! It was wasy to put together and very sturdy. The only bad thing is that the refrigerator door doesn't hold in place because the hole that holds the "hinge" isn't drilled right. It's the perfect height for a toddler. I plan to keep it for my littlest one to play with as well

It is a great design and plenty of fun things however, there are a couple major design flaws. First, this is a play kitchen for TODDLERS and YOUNG children so why would it be so unstable in back? It's kind of top heavy and you have to shove it good up against a wall. Also, it shows pegs clearly in the photo with their own accessories hanging from them. That is false advertising. The pegs hold NOTHING. They are too short, most things that come WITH the kitchen have holes not even the right size and everything falls right off the pegs. The pegs are necessary to keep things up and out of the way and are just plain fun if they work. Plus, I've heard many other complaints about the ref. door and oven door not closing properly and I found that to be true as well. There are just so few kitchens that are gender neutral so I chose this one. Luckily, my child doesn't seem to notice these flaws yet but as the purchaser, they are disappointing for the price of a toy that you will only have a few years.

We bought this as a first birthday present for our grandson. He was a little too little for it at first but he was quite intrigued with all the pieces and opening and closing the doors. He is now a bit taller and plays with it every time he comes over. Still too short for the microwave door at 15 months so we hold him up to open and close it! He really enjoys playing with it, keeps him busy!!

I ordered this Little Tykes kitchen for a Christmas present for my grandkids on 10/15. The box stayed unopened until today when my daughter and I opened it, 12/21, to put it together for Christmas but the part with the oven and refrigerator was faulty. The refrigerator door would not work and every time I opened it, it was not straight and would hang at an angle, so it couldn't be closed. It appears that the top "hinge pin" was bent and the front of the refrigerator door was scratched. The holes this should hold the door were not round. Was this a return? Also, I could not insert 2 of the 4 oven knobs. Apparently this is past the time limit for a return. I am out $86. This was fulfilled by Amazon and I had no idea different rules apply. I think I deserve either a refund or a replacement. 12/28 Update. Little Tikes is replacing the entire kitchen and shipping it to my home. I am totally pleased with their response.

Son was always in the kitchen playing with pots and pans, so figured he would like this. Well it looks like we have a future cook on our hands. This is perfect for a 1.5 year old and I bet older kids would also like it. Extremely well made, has some sound effects (nothing annoying), comes with some extras, and an unbeatable price tag. This is not one of those toys that end up never played with. you will not be disappointed.

I bought this kitchen playset for my son. He is two and every time I pull out anything to the kitchen counter, he screams "I COOK WITH DADDY!!" and drags a dining room chair into the kitchen to "cook with me".I was getting a little sick of it since it slowed me down considerably keeping him from grabbing knives or sticking dirty spatuals into bowls, so I got him his own kitchen so he could "help daddy cook at his own kitchen".The kitchen was incredibly easy to assemble and the stickers were simple to apply smoothly.My son LOVES playing in the kitchen, especially because the general look is very similar to our real kitchen.It is nice that this product comes with some food and untensils, but we also got him an extra set of "fresh produce" for him to play with.

Good value for what it is but don't expect the oven door to close perfectly. A bit frustrated b/c knobs are missing (check if you have everything before you get rid of the box) and the utensils don't actually fit on the hanging pegs except the spatula and a few of the pans (but only if you hang it up with the pan facing the other way), so only 2 of 4 pegs are useful.Update: Little Tikes' 1 800 number was very helpful and customer service was excellent. The missing parts were sent to me for free, which was way better than amazon's suggestion to ship the whole thing back. Amazon provided a 20% discount for the missing parts though, which was great.
