Some of the best reporting I've read. Absolutely devastating... Truly an outstanding read.

This is a very well researched book and I recommend it to all my friends, family and clients to read. The issues are not discussed enough and we should all be much more aware about the political corruption that is moving our real estate markets out of affordability, into the hands of the few.

Willful Blindness pulls no punches and names names in Vancouver's "money laundering model." There is NO way that our former and present premier were not aware of the drug money and money laundering through casinos. This might be contributing to the British Columbia economy and lining a few pockets, but also destroying property and lives. All of the overdoses, empty condos and housing prices are all happening right now. Thank you, Sam Cooper.

Fantastic, just an incredibly well researched and written piece. Everyone should be aware that there are these insidious enemies hidden in all our countries among us. It is not those with minor political differences, but state sponsored terrorists and criminals that come from CCP based organizations in China. Please we all must read about these dangers and discuss this future of dominance by foreign mafia more clearly!

The book is very insightful and goes through why our government Federally and provincially are ill prepared to handle international crime.Money is constantly being moved out of Canada back to China while securing the money against the housing market. Greed in many industries, Canadian Casino's, Real estate, Vancouver Ports (less about greed more about government cutbacks that prevent the Port Authority to shut down the main line of transportation) , etc. keep this industry going. The money sent to China funds their opioid production/transport costs to Vancouver/Toronto, the drugs fund the underground bank, which either cleans that money through our casino's then ships it to Hong Kong or provides it to Rich Chinese who gamble the money/buy real estate and provides services in exchange for the opioid production/transport.The government is trying to get out of the casino industry (which is very lucrative), ever asked yourself, why? In the book they already identify MP's that are corrupt in Burnaby, executives who are corrupt in the Casino's, and outline the whole system that is in place and have been identified by the RCMP, yet very little is happening.Real estate keeps getting higherCasino's continue to make staggering profits,Criminals are not being deported - they have the money, resources, and experience to skirt our legal systems,and Opioids are killing our people.The easiest way to resolve our Opioid crisis is to stop the cycle of events that allow them to enter our Country in the first place. The book provides recommendations on how to do this, but it would take the people to force the government into action as the government seems content with the current state of affairs.Great book - read the book because knowing what is really going on is priceless

Great book. It draws a clear+detailed picture of combined political and criminal efforts happening in Canada/US. I’m living in Germany. Money laundering here is easy because of no limits for paying in cash - but what really astonished me was the possibility of combining differentiated criminal activities+political and ideological influence to overtake other countries. I hope the book will be read in all western countries and in china as well to rise up awareness hopefully without endless mutual blame
