I have both this gator and also a competitive product that is very popular from Europe. Court is out which one I like better but both do a good job at keeping my grounds fresh.I buy specialty coffee beans at a local market and have them ground for a French press while at their store. I get enough for about 7 -10 days max. Each daily cup tastes great.

I looked for quite a while for something to store my coffee in. This thing popped up in my life and I'm real glad it did. The top of this canister has 2 rotating dials that show single numberswhich change according to where you turn them. I use this feature to specify the month and day that I put my coffee in it. It has a great seal around the lid and the latch seems to hold up good and closed the lid tightly. The side of the canister has a couple of magnets on the side which hold the spoon that came with it. Thus spoon is the perfect coffee scooper. One full scoop does it instead of trying to guess and using a regular table spoon. It also has a clip attached to the side that took me a while to figure out what to do with it. I finally used that part as the label holder so that I don't have to guess which coffee I have in it. It says that it's a 64oz canister. However, don't expect to fit 64oz of dry coffee in it. I was able to fit one 22.6oz can in mine which is one of the bigger coffee packages. All in all it's an amazing product. The only thing that I wish I could change is that it would take a while 64oz of ground coffee. So, don't do like I did and buy 2 big things of folgers to fill it up with cause it all won't fit.

Die Kaffeedose macht einen wertigen Eindruck und hat keine unangenehmen Gerüche.Für mich ist die kleine Schaufel von Vorteil da mein Kaffeeautomat unter einem Hängeschrank steht und es da mit dem einfüllen direkt aus der Tüte manchmal recht schwierig war. Die Optik ist hübsch und die Farben fügen sich gut in den Raum ohne zu " schreien"Von mir eine Kaufempfehlung.Update ich wollte diese Dose noch einmal kaufen. Beim Preis bin ich allerdings vom Glauben abgefallen. Eine Preissteigerungen von 300% ist schon heftig. Auf Grund der guten Verarbeitung habe ich sie trotzdem nochmals bestellt.
