I will give the first real review of this amazing time piece.I'll try an keep this short.;)The watch is a must have. I could end it at that.Any concerns you have are not to be put into consideration of this watch.That being said.I bought this through amazon from an NY based seller "authentic watches" i believe.I filmed the unpacking as well as took pictures, as all you should do too.Just to make sure I had ample evidence if the watch was damaged to avoid the ridiculous an dreaded "restocking fee", which for a watch of this price could buy you a lower level watch on its own.The watch came without the plastic film over the sapphire but the back skeleton did have it.This point was just to show that these watch may be handled prior, whether for testing or returns.More reason to film the un-boxing.Ill break the review down into pros an cons because I seem to like reviews with them.PROS...The watch is stunning...Masculine yet classy.Easily unnoticed yet very prominent, hard to describe until you ware it.The details are amazing down to the slightly raised numbers giving it that POP.Lumine is BRIGHT and last for a few hours, not sure how long though.Crown is so nice to touch an so smooth.The calf skin band is just so comfortable, easily worn in.Light watch, with high quality build.Great finish on case.Keeps great time, currently I'd say only losing a few seconds a day, if that.But I'm sure over time it will degrade. But currently it seems right on.Readability, I mean I can't see a watch face that you could grab the exact time any faster then this.Font. Of numbers an Letters.Swiss made/ American MadeAutomatic. 40+ hours of reserve42mm Size just fits perfectly, I wouldn't say I have a particularly large wrist. A 46 mm takes over. And this fits perfect.Scratch resistances is truly top notch, banged it a few times an not a ding nor scratch to be seen anywhere.*****100m Water Resistance*****CONS***Untested Water Resistance***Calf skin should not get wet, so If you plan on showering or swimming with this you need a new band. Or I should say, consider a new band.Changes date 5 to midnight. So at 11:55pm. Some people don't like that, and some forums say that means its needs servicing. Overall people seem to not know what there talking about, and I don't mind one bit. But just letting it be known.Getting date and time synchronized together was annoying. I was 12 hours off 3 times I tried. Ended up doing it by manually turning it until it changed date to know exactly what time it was in AM or PM. (but now I'm just splitting hairs to add more cons cause theirs really nothing wrong with this watch haha)I didn't want to write this review because I don't want people to know how awesome this watch was an be deterred from buying it making it less popular ;)But it deserves more than a cheesy 1 star review that has nothing to do with the watch.I tried on the 46mm version of this similar dial. And that watch also is beautiful. Just in case you were looking at both.Enjoy your watch purchase, and if you decide on this one... You've made the right choice.

Great watch delivered on time and in perfect condition. Band was just too small, unfortunate. I went with the stainless bracelet and it fits perfectly!

Most of the bad reviews on this center on the band, this is the exact same watch as the higher rated metal band version. Bands are super easy to replace if the Hamilton H clip that comes with it does not suit your needs. Personally I found the leather sturdy but not to firm that easily broke in to my wrist after a day or so of wear. Timekeeping is extremely accurate and rivals my existing sekio automatic and is actually more precise than my neighbors Rolex. Power reserve is excellent and the luminosity in dark conditions is long lasting and easy to read without being excessively bright. Setting the watch is straightforward but takes a little getting used to make the correct day and date show. I’m not gentle to watches unfortunately, however the case and top glass have held up superbly and look as though the watch just came out of the box. I don’t do much with water immersion so I can’t personally attest to the water resistance, but it seems to handle occasional splashes very well.

I have been wearing this watch daily for 18 months. The beauty of this watch is still stunning. I love the automatic movement and the accuracy from this Hamilton. The watch is very easy to read and the fine details that are include are exquisite. The original strap was very comfortable but did leave some things to be desired. I recently upgraded the strap to the Hamilton stainless bracelet and am in love all over again. I highly recommend this watch!

This is a great watch. You will not regret the purchase.

Always wanted a automatic Hamilton, when I received this watch it did'nt work.Not sure if I'll consider Hamilton in the furture.
