Amazing book
Amazing book dealing with the deepest philosophical truths of India. The author seems to be very familiar with the Hindu philosophy.

The Garland of Letters
I borrowed this book from the library first and knew that it would take a while to read and that I would want to re-read it. For those who want to take their yoga to a deeper level and are interested in yogic philosophy then this is excellent. It is very deep. John Woodroffe in translating this work shows his immense interest in the subject and being a Westerner, puts it into a manner that our culture can understand. As stated it is deep and perhaps not to everyone's cup of tea but I love it.

Not what I had expected to receive
Had ordered a hardbound book. Received a paperback. The book has many typos in it. Ended up downloading a free pdf version of the book. It's a good book.
