Felt Great Until They Got Wet and Sandy
I bought these for a scuba trip; I thought they would be great boat shoes that could get wet and dry quickly. That thought was correct. My (personal) problem was that I had to walk through sand to get to the boat. Although I rinsed my shoes/feet in salt water while standing on concrete steps into the sea before boarding the boat, apparently there was still a small amount of sand remaining in the shoes. This sand rubbed against my toes creating some red sores. I don't recommend this shoe for walking on the beach or anyplace where there is significant sand...or dirt. I guess they're good around the pool, or on the driveway while washing your car, etc. I'm switching to open toed rubber sandals for my beach/scuba excursions.

Way to big, no customer service
I ordered the neon shoes. Look great! But after trying this on the product is way larger than the labeled size. Going to their actual website I noticed they saw on all non-red shoes order a size down. This information would be nice to have on this listing.. its not a big deal and they look great so I'm happy to replace them. The reason I'm giving this product 1 star is because after I discovered that they run a size big, I contacted the seller asking for a smaller size with no response. They then shipped the larger size 24hrs later. Of course when I got them they were a size too big. I went to go exchange them and they will be charging me $5 for return shipping. Feels like bad customer service to me.

Red Still fits large
Do yourself a favor and go to the their website and look up the sizing disclaimer on the shoes. They have foot lengths for the feet sizes on their water shoes. Their website says the red version fits differently so I went ahead and bought my normal shoe size which is a size 9. unfortunately, the red version of the shoe still fits larger than i hoped. It's about 1/2 - 1 in larger than i'd like it to be for a water shoe. If this was a normal sneaker, i'd say that i'd be okay with the shoe fit since i'd be wearing socks and have laces to tighten the shoe. Since these are supposed to be water shoes, i'd expect a slightly snugger fit which seems appropriate as the mesh material is super stretchy and the sole is super plush. For reference, my foot size from heel to toe sits right around 10". depending on shoe brand and style I typically fit a 8.5-9.5 mens shoe depending on what the purpose is. Running shoes you want some space for your foot to expand while dress shoes i'll size down to eliminate the extra space. When it comes to water shoes, you need to factor in the fact that a standard show sizing might not work for what you want your water shoe to do. These red wave runner size 9 felt great and cushy, and i wouldn't be opposed to walking in these things all day, but it was far to loose to be used in the water. They felt like more of a loose slip-on that was really stretchy. The laces aren't really meant to tighten but probably would have solved the loose fit issue if they were functional laces. In this case, they are just stretchy strings probably intended for easy foot insertion. I guess you could pull them tight, but i don't think that's the intended use.Given the way it fit on my foot, I'd probably go on the lower end of sizing that you're normally used to since you'll want a snuggly fitting show so it doesn't just fall off as you step in and out of the water. I've returned my size 9 and opted for the Red size 8. i'll report back on fit once i get it. Overall though, i think the shoe feels and looks great. So 4 stars. Depending on how size 8 fits, it can change my review.Updated (only applies to the mens RED version): I just received a size 8 after feeling the size 9 was definitely a little looser than I wanted for a water shoe. Althought the size 9 fit my foot it was too loose to my liking for a water shoe when wearing no socks. The size 8 is definitely snug now, but one thing to note is that the heel/ankle area still pretty loose unlike other more stretchy water shoes. I don't think it will be an issue given that the toe area is now pretty snug. If your foot is longer than 10" or you have a pretty wide foot, then size 8 will NOT work and definitely stick to the size 9. I'd probably fit a 8.5 if they had that size, but this is still suitable for me. It's a little too snug in the toe area which might be uncomfortable for those that don't like that type of fit, but i'm definitely at the limit for this show size. If i wore a sock then it would be too tight but these are water shoes so no sock needed. I'll still keep it at a 4 star as everything else about this shoe is pretty good.

Plastic soles with little strips of rubber
These are not good for sand, rocks or concrete pools because they are covered in holes and have plastic soles. Plastic soles slip on concrete and rocks. The little "improvement" of the rubber strips would only last a short while before wearing off. The holes will let a significant amount of sand inside. They have a good return policy, but it takes a while to see your money. I took one look at them and boxed them back up for return.

Holey Shoes!
I have sweaty feet, so I use these as house slippers. I stuck a flashlight inside the shoes to show how airy they are (see photos). They feel like you're hardly wearing anything, similar to some old water shoes I had. Fit-wise, I tend to like loose, wide shoes. My feet are 11" long and 4" wide, so I ordered a size 12. The shoes feel just a smidgen tight on the sides, but since the material is a little stretchy, it's not really noticeable (I wear socks with these). A size 13 might have been a tad better. Maybe next time for the neon yellow ones...

Perfect if you're going to wear them for a weekend and then throw them in the back of the closet
These worked great the first 3-4 wears. Lightweight, good traction, very comfortable. Then the mesh started to tear and let rocks in. By about 8 wears, the sole started to seperate from the bottom and now less than a month after having got them, the soles have almost entirely detached. These are the great water shoes for those who will wear them for a weekend at the beach/creek and then leave them in the closet until vacation next year but if you are going to use them with any regularity, these are likely to let you down

These are great!
This is my third pair because they fit well, and last a long time. They're not for long distance walking, or long hours on concrete, but fora few hours on grass, or the beach, they're perfect.Machine washable, but you probably shouldn't put them in the dryer, as they could shrink.Well made, very comfortable, drain holes, quick dry, stylish, affordable, long lasting ... wow!

A little scratchy
These are nice, inexpensive, good fit, good grip, protect my feet. They are a little scratchy which is ok for sitting in a canoe but I would not want to walk any distances in them. But very good for what I need, inexpensive foot protection in the water and in the boat.

lightweight and stylish
I'm a size 9 normally so I bought the 8 and it was still a bit large. Slides on the heel. However it doesn't fall off and hugs the rest of my foot and as soon as it gets wet it snugs up and even with running and swimming I had no concerns about it falling off. Once you're out of the water they remain super light and don't retain water. A little bit of sand gets in, to be expected. The sole protects my feet from the rocks, although stones do get stuck in the holes on the bottom. I'm quite satisfied with my purchase!

Awful . Don't waste your money.
The main issue is walking on dirt on sand. Got stones and sand inside the shoes. I ended up walking on bear foot than using the shoes. Will return them as soon as possible.
