Make sure this is what you are looking for.
This is a chemically treated mattress cover, not a zipper-sealed mattress protector. It only covers the top and sides of the mattress. I wish the listing had a picture.

Recommended by my exterminator and they work
First I encased the mattress with a vinyl liner then I put this one on top of it. The active ingredient is chrysanthemums which is great because I don't want to put a liner with a chemical pesticide on any of my beds. The bed bugs are gone.

Made it worse
Not only did this not kill any bugs, it provided a harborage area for them. I put it on my mattress over the encasement and under the new sheets. I also sprayed part of my room, but unfortunately, due to a defective spray can, I was unable to finish spraying. Obviously, some bugs survived my unfinished attempt. I expected that; I have a replacement coming soon and will redo all the steps. But I didn't bother to remove the liner because I figured it would at least buy me a few bite-free days, right? Not even close. I did read that the liners are ineffective when covered; I figured I would move it to my box spring and leave it uncovered once I redid the spray. Well, that's pointless and dangerous. I just took the sheets off my bed and found about a dozen live bugs living happily in the folds of this supposedly toxic liner. They weren't moving slowly or in any way indicating that the liner bothered them. Either the one I got was defective or the bugs are resistant. Either way, I paid $60 for a fancy hotel suite for the bugs. It provided extra pockets of air cushion for them to avoid being squished.

Waste of money
These do not work. We found bed bugs under this mattress liner and on top of it, alive and thriving after two weeks.

Highly recommended!
I did not buy this product from Amazon, but when we were living in PA a few years ago, we apparently had some of these critters come in on a sofa we bought. We didn't have an "infestation" according to the inspector we had come out, but after calling in an exterminator and using one of these ActiveGuard covers on our bunkie board, we are still bug free after 4 years. We paid over $100 for our cover. This is a much better price! We had no idea Amazon sold these.
