I've tried other silk pillowcases, which were thin--so thin you could see through them and they wore out quickly. Celestial silk pillowcases are soft and sturdy, made "thicker" than others and stand up to my tossing and turning all night. The silk case stays cool and my hair slides along it instead of waking up with gnarled, tangled, rough hair, my hair is much more manageable now. I love the luxurious feel of these pillowcases. Other cheaper brands just did not stand up. I'll order more Celestial Silk cases to give as gifts! I wash cold in the machine and hang to dry.

This pillow case is so luxurious! The quality is outstanding right down to the beautiful packaging and personalized note! It also laundered perfectly. Per the directions, I turned it inside out, washed in cold water on the delicate setting and hung it up to dry. Easy! I am a hot sleeper and have tried cheaper satin cases and would wake up with a sweaty hair mess. After a few weeks I gave up and tossed it. Wish I would have spent the extra money getting this one from the start! I sleep nice and comfortably cool and my face and hair are thanking me!! I love this pillowcase and will be purchasing another one soon!!

I have always wanted a silk pillowcase after reading the many benefits of silk for sleep creases/wrinkles, hair styles etc. After doing thorough research I decided I would only buy 25momme silk and I wasn't prepared to pay more than $40 (I have seen some silk pillowcases on beauty sites for up to $80!). I also decide to buy two, for when one's in the wash. So I decided to buy two different brands as a comparison of quality and to help me make future purchases eg I'd like to buy them as presents for my mum, sister, aunt, friends, husband etc.This Celestial Silk pillowcase is everything I hoped for. It is VERY soft and very silky with a satiny finish. It's well made with a hidden zipper. It's an absolute pleasure to lay my head down on the pillow at night (and not just because I'm a mama to young children!).The other brand I bought, for the same price, was Fishers Finery. I'm also very happy with that purchase. The silk in that pillowcase is slightly thicker, however not as satiny. I will use both but intend to use that one as my travel pillowcase (I'm never sleeping on cotton again) as it feels like a more durable fabric. However, having only washed them each twice and slept on them each for about a week, I still can't speak to long term durability. I am interested to see which one lasts longer.I think the price is really good value! I pay more for a jar of face cream - which doesn't last as long. I have definitely noticed I wake up with less wrinkles/sleep creases. As another reviewer said, my face cream stays on and doesn't get soaked up as it would with a cotton pillowcase. I have very fine hair (which gets very oily and needs to be washed daily) so for me the hairstyle part doesn't really matter. However, I have noticed that my hair does look slightly better in the morning and is also less oily. So for someone who doesn't wash their hair every day, I think silk pillowcases are definitely helpful.And even if none of the above were true - it just FEELS so much nicer to sleep on a silk pillowcase. I think I am sleeping more deeply , just because of the luxury of sleeping on silk. It's like sleeping on a cloud of softness and your face doesn't "stick" to the pillow. I'm very happy that such a small investment has given me this much pleasure :)

I love the thickness of the silk. It feels very substantial. The quality is amazing and I sleep very well using it. Everything about it is just what I was hoping for except the color. I ordered the gold hoping the color would be like the photo, more towards yellow. It's not. It leans more to the beige side. Not a deal breaker. It's an awesome pillowcase. Well worth purchasing.

Lighter weight than the first one.I bought this same pattern two years ago and, it has held up beautifully. So, when my lighter weight silk pillowcase from a different company, developed a tiny hole near the zipper, I decided to buy a second of what I had. This is supposed to be identical to the first one, but it isn't It is not as heavy.So I guess time will tell if it holds up as well as the first.

I LOOVE this pillowcase. This was my first silk pillowcase and, news to me, I’m allergic to silk. Gave me a colorless, bumpy rash on my face, neck, and upper back. Nonetheless, I loved this pillowcase. So soft, great temperature regulation. NEEDS to be washed according to instructions, definitely real silk. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their skin/hair care. Was excited to sleep on it every day.UPDATE: Did a burn test on a tiny piece, and definitely silk.

These far exceeded my expectations. I always use silk pillow cases (the real ones are worth the expense) but the print on these are just beautiful. Washed on gentle, cold cycle, dried on low heat with other bedding and they came out perfect. Incredibly soft. I HIGHLY recommend.

Silk fabric is lovely, however, the length of the pillowcase is a few centimetres short and buckles the pillow slightly. I’ve tried it on a couple of pillows with the same result. The Australian standard pillow seems to be bigger than the standard pillowcase supplied.

The media could not be loaded.  I was given one of these pillow cases from Celestial Silk a number of years ago and have never looked back, i take it everywhere with me. I absolutely love it. It feels good on my skin, cool all night. I highly recommend it to all!
