S&BJapanese Seasoning Paste Series in Plastic Tube (Karashi Paste)

This is amazing! Saw it on a YouTube video and had to try it. If am using it pretty much like ketchup for my nuggets and it's so good! It's basically ground mustard and horseradish so you get that amazing burn in your sinuses!

Purchased to add to our homemade Natto. Delicious. Also pairs well with Onigiri, maki, nori, etc.

We typically use karashi with fried items (e.g., pork cutlets, fish fillets, etc.). The kick of the karashi is always a welcome addition. I was somewhat disappointed with how long the delivery took (several weeks).

Pros; This is a perfect blend of mustard and wasabi with the flavor of both and without the kick of pure wasabi.Cons; it doesn't come in a gallon tube.

I got a refund because the expiration date is a month away. No way to use the entire tube before it goes bad. Old stock? I will order locally next time.

Was looking for mustard for my tonkatsu that I make. This fit the bill. Hard to find except in Asian groceries which are not nearby. This is more like a wasabi consistency than the Chinese mustard you see in restaurants. Thereby, a little dab'l do ya! It's really great on breaded pork or chicken. Good for an extra kick with dumplings as well.

Love the stuff so much power

Not a lot to say other than I really like the flavor, my daughter and I love it on soft pretzels. Just wish I could get a much bigger quantity. The tube is relatively small but the price is reasonable for the amount.
