So far, so good…
I recently switched from Beyond to Wellness. I like it better and my two cats seem to as well. First, I like the small kibble. It was also recommended in online cat food reviews, because of ingredients (like actual meat being at the top of the list) and the lack of unhealthy ones. The smaller kibble that Wellness has is important to me because of one of my two cats. Baxter has a baby doll face—the smushed face. He’s the cat version of a Pug, I guess. I included a pic of him. But, he struggles to eat big pieces of food. What I don’t like about this food is the low fiber content. However, I mix this with Iams Proactive Health Indoor Weight and Hairball Care (Salmon). This specific blend of Iams also gets good reviews for budget cat food and has higher fiber content, important when you have long-haired cats like I do. So, the fiber thing balances out. I feed my two cats wet cat food daily as well. They seem to be getting along well on Wellness and like the taste. There are so many choices of cat food out there now it is confusing and overwhelming, at least it has been for me. The cost, like many things, has also skyrocketed. It was a difficult decision that I thoroughly researched. My two cats are part of our family. I want to feed them well, but I do not have unlimited income. Wellness and the Iams have been a good option for us. They’re reasonably healthy and priced compared to other brands. I chose this version of Wellness compared to the grain free or Wellness Core due to my vet’s advice. He said he felt grain free food was a gimmick like so many ploys they use to reel consumers in with pet foods. Ultimately, the vet said cats eat grains in the wild. They do this through the animals they kill and consume. For example, if they hunt and eat rabbits in the wild, rabbits eat grains. They are getting grains through their prey. This was a few years ago, but the vet also said that there had been studies on dogs. There was a connection between grain free diets and heart disease. He went onto say that it was a safe bet that the same findings would come out with cats. The grain free version is also more expensive, so it’s a win win. I hope you found this review helpful.

Fur baby approves 👍🏻🐈
Our kitty has been eating this since he could eat dry food. He has a sensitive tummy and this seems to help with that. He is 6 months old now and quite energetic, very healthy, happy, and he seems to enjoy the taste of the food since it is chicken flavored. However I also give wet food on the side morning and evening but keep dry available at all times. Plus I love that the quality of this food is keeping our little fur babies happy and healthy!!

Kitten loves it and growing fast!
My little kitten loves the food and I feel the quality is good because his coat is getting better and he is growing faster than with the other food I had. He looks healthier too. This is my second purchase.

Spoiled
I’ve ordered my cat food from amazon since my cats were kittens and are now a year old and have had no problems, either with delivery or the food itself. However, this last bag appears to be spoiled. My cats free feed dry food with a can of wet food a day. Since putting out the food my one cat (who loves to eat) has become ill, vomiting for two days……the other cat who is more discriminating with her food would not even touch the dry food. It took a day to figure out neither cat was touching the dry food. My sick cat has now recovered and is doing well. Not sure what if anything can be done in regards to bags of food that might be spoiled and how you can tell. I had already placed the dry food in a new air tight container so did not have the actual bag as I wanted to check to see if there is a “use by date” that might help with this not happening again.
