Glentronics, Inc. DFC2 PHCC Pro Series Deluxe Dual Float Controller

I installed this device over 7 years ago. It is an excellent but not perfect product. I gave it 5 stars because nothing else I have ever used has compared to it. It has functioned near flawlessly for 7 years and I know I've never had one that worked this well. I have it connected to a sewage sump system that is imperative that it works. If there is a weak part, It is the switch assembly which is subject to becoming fouled with debris, for instance, if the wrong tissue paper is used. I have concluded that Charmin and the like are not good choices, but Sam's club's own brand seems to be fine. If the sump is used in an area where kitchen debris is put down the drain, it is susceptible to be coming fouled with grease. That has happened a couple of times but just required cleaning. The buzzer that comes on when the upper limit switch is actuated is not very loud if The sump is in a out of the way part of the house. I had to install a remote buzzer so that I could hear it upstairs but that was not difficult to do. Overall I don't believe there is a better product and as a property manager have used it in other locations with similar results. I especially like the adjustable pump on timer that allows you to get the sump near empty without running dry. Great feature.

Unfortunately, the timer(s) on both units were faulty.The initial purchase item the timer was stuck at 30 secand would not change regardless of where I turnedthe timer pot. The replacement item timer would onlyvary between 30-45 seconds... and tended to driftas well.Sadly had to go refund route. Bought their BWC-1 unit.
