I really like these swords especially the red and black one which I call Sayas Corruption and it was worth the money for these two. I'll treasure these two with extreme care

I've been waiting to buy a Katana and hoping modern-day mass productuion would mix with high quality traditional katanas and produce something of good quality at an affordable price. This sword is about exactly that, it's very affordable when looking at traditional prices for handmade blades yet not the cheap junk that falls apart after use.It's a sturdy peice that I have yet to have any major issues with throughout its use. It has lasted many cuts through wara tatami mats and shows no signs of dulling. The handle could use a re-wrap since the Kashira started sliding off but that's an easy fix when doing a deep cleaning. The blade isn't the sharpest it could be but still sharp and I wouldn't recommend sharpening it due to the metal quality but with proper technique it can easily cut through your target.Very pleased with this purchase!

When i got the blade it came really well made the shine is clear i was able to see my face, other blades i got was really blur. The weight of the blade feels about right. My wife held it and was shocked to see how heavy it kinda felt. I even named my katana MuKoori. I will buy another one soon

Have not had a chance to full use it but it feels great with a solid weight distribution.

First of all, this is a great-looking katana. For the price, it offers a great value and I could not find any cosmetic flaws or issues that would impact the functionality. The detailed description of the item seems accurate.• BLADE: The blade seems to be high carbon steel and presumably 1060 as advertised. As this description states, this is made from through-hardened 1060 (0.60% carbon content) carbon steel which is much better than the 1045 (0.45% carbon content). Although it is not razor-sharp the blade is sharp, straight, and functional with a full tang extending into the handle. I would not hesitate using this blade for some tameshigiri (cutting Practice)• Tsuka (handle) wrapping seems to be a cotton/polyester blend. Ray skin inside the handle is artificial but it is expected at this price point. It looks great it does its job. The blade fits the saya very well with no rattling whatsoever. All the other fittings and parts seem to be made from the same alloy. It looks very fancy and unique.• The sheath (Saya) is made out of wood. No flaws that I could spot. It fits the blade perfectly.I sincerely hope that you would find my review helpful.

Really outstanding construction quality, really really sharp, has a really good balance and feels solid built. As a collection item is really good, however keep in mind that is not forged the same way as an authentic Japanese katana so if you hit it against hard surfaces it might break eventually. But none the less for the price is a really good gift for yourself or other appreciators of katanas. Definitely something you want to display in your living room. Definitely recommend it.
