Ultra light fuel bottle of seamless extruded aluminum and lacquered inside to give the bottle better protection. The connection threads are standard and suitable for OmniLite Ti, OmniFuel, MultiFuel, VariFuel, Gravity VF & MF and EtaPower MF as well as most common pump stoves that burn liquid fuels.

No leaks once I was shown how to work the bottle top
I purchased this fuel bottle after it was recommended to me by a friend. I ride off road motorcycles, and use this bottle to extend the range of my bike when I’m on long trips in the back country. I see that other reviewers have complained about leaks, but that has not been my experience. When I first used the bottle I tightened down the top and found that it indeed was leaking. My friend then showed me that I could tighten it further by pushing down on the top while turning. It sort of works like a pill bottle. Once fully ratcheted down, the top spins freely and prevents accidental loosening while maintaining a tight seal. To remove the cap you push it down and then twist it off.I've had this bottle strapped by my bike as I bounced over rocky and rough terrain. No leaks, no issues. If I have any trouble I will be sure to come back and update this review.

Another story about fuel bottles with childproof bottle caps.
I filled this with gas and set it on it's side for a few days. No leaks. Then after sitting on my work bench in my cool garage I began to smell gas. It was upright, but when I layed it down, it was leaking. FYI...I had not overfilled it...I filled to the fill line. Yes, the cap was tight...I understand how the childproof cap works and had it secured. I bought this for "insurance" while motorcycle touring in remote areas, but I have years of experience carrying fuel bottles in my mountaineering backpack. I think these childproof caps are at fault and I can't fault Primus for the problem. I think this would be a problem with the cap on any currently made fuel bottle. I certainly wouldn't trust any of them in a saddlebag with my clothes, emergency repair items or food. So, now I'm looking for another solution...

Live saver for those back country trips.
Only took it on one trip so far but it has already paid off. I was in some back water where they have a prejudice against posting directions to the nearest gas station and my reserve light was blinking. With 1.5 liter of extra gas on my back pack I felt the brave and in charge. The tank is a little hard to fill and often spills over while filling. But I saw no spillage during transport and fit was tight and gives you a nice tactile feel that lets you know it's close. Even manage to drop it and it resisted denting. I'm really looking for a negative point but so fat I can't find one.

Works as well as any other fuel bottle.
I have previously used Primus, MSR, and Optimus cannisters for white gas/ camping fuel for my backpacking stoves. They're all about the same. The only differences now days are the designs of the child proof caps. You do need to make sure that the laquer or sealer they use on the inside is approved for alcohol based fuel if you plan to use it for that. These 1.5 liter bottles will be used to store emergency gasoline on motorcycle trips across Michigan's Upper Peninsula and for that they work fine. As long as you remember to bring a funnel for filling them up and filling your bike. I do miss the old caps that weren't childproof.

Durable and useful
This is a nice size bottle that's easy to carry/ or mount to whatever machine you have. I've been carrying it for over a month now and have used a few times and no problems with leaks. It does build a little pressure depending on conditions so expect a mild and small pressure release. The only reason it's not 5 stars is it doesn't pour well. You have to do a quick tip so it doesn't flow down the side. Probably fine in a dirtbike due to larger gas cap size but quite difficult on anything with a standard gas cap. Otherwise its solid, nice looking, and appears durable.

A Leaker
Bought this container to keep my alcohol fuel in. After filling, put it in my camp kitchen box on its side and it leaked! Not good. Poor cap and seal. Not worth the $$ spent.

Perfect For A Motorcycle Trip
Took this on a 2 week motorcycle camping trip. Came handy a few times. Just make sure the cap twist-locks or it will leak. Made a custom mounting harness for it out of velcro tape that I eventually mounted to my passenger pegs.

Great gas "can" for motorcycle road trips
This thing is awesome to have as an insurance tool on long motorcycle touring trips. I haven't had to use it's contents in an emergency but the narrow mouth makes it easy to pour (also a bit tricky to fill without a funnel). I've taken it out on several trips and haven't had any issues with leaks, fumes, etc. Highly recommended as a slightly cheaper alternative to the MSR bottles.

Perfect for single / night trips
I needed a small fuel bottle for single night bivis and winter day trips where I'd need to cook warm food at altitude and this 0.35L bottle is perfect. The new textured surface provides more grip with gloves and seems to feel less cold on ungloved hands. This will probably be my default fuel bottle now.

Meine kleine Benzin Flasche
OutdoorMinimalist.net

Sehr gut

No probada aun
