I installed one of these near a shower in apt of 89 yo. The grab bar installs easily, and is sturdy enough. It looks like the image in the ad. The only shortcoming I see is that the kit includes screws that, IMO, are too short. They are 1.5 inches long, which means that there is only about 1/2" of the screw in the framing - I replaced them with 2" screws. The kit comes with plastic anchors that can be used in drywall rather than anchoring to framing, but I am never comfortable anchoring a grab bar in drywall - I always want it to be anchored in something more substantial (framing, concrete, etc.). This grab bar is a fair value given the price, and I would buy this product again if I need more grab bars.

Just what we needed. Easy to install, great match for our decor.

whereas this is a reasonable product, the included anchors are insufficient to hold anyone grabbing it.should use butterfly anchors or something similar, and nothing less for installing on drywall.can be dangerous if used with the included anchors.

The media could not be loaded.  Got it for my mother to us in the bathroom. Seeing it up abs screwing out into the wall took less than thirty minutes. Instructions were easy up follow.The most annoying part is that the cassis don’t fit onto the inner ring (see video).Overall the end piece quality is bad.It’s attached to the wall so we will give it a couple weeks to see if it works else it’s going back for sure.
