Solid Lights - Excellent Quality
I am very impressed with these Deck Impressions Solar Path Lights. They are beautiful lights and extremely well made. They are made with actual glass which adds to their quality and style. Glass will stand up much better to weather and sun. The Edison bulbs also look incredible too. They arrive in 3 pieces, assembly is very easy. The solar charges well and they stay lit all night. Definitely recommend these Path Lights!

No stakes
I ordered three boxes of these lights. They are very nice but there are NO stakes to stick them in the ground in any of the three boxes. There are the extension piece, to set it above the ground but no pointed stake piece to go in the ground. Hopefully they will work and not blow over without the stakes.

Don’t waste your money
These didn’t work right out of the package. The top part is heavy metal with glass panes. The stand is the flimsiest plastic so they broke before you even got them staked in the ground. The lights won’t charge even in full sunlight. I even bought new batteries to try and see if it was just bad batteries but they still didn’t work. Total junk!

Bright and well built.
This is a 4 pack of solar path lights made by Deck Impressions. They come in 3 pieces that are packaged well with no breaking. They are a mix of plastic, metal and glass. They have a small attached Edison style bulb and a small solar power plate on top. Like most solar lights they definitely need to be exposed for the better part of the sunshine to stay lit at night. If properly charged they stay lit almost all night long. The bulbs are LED, bright and display a beautiful light pattern on the ground. They are weather resistant which is incredibly important living in the PNW. We are very happy with them and highly recommend especially at a fantastic price of less then $10 a piece coming in at just under $40 for the 4 pack at the time of this review. Highly recommend.

Very well built but not as bright as expected . Also two of the 12 I ordered are not working
These are built well but I’m dissapointed. I ordered these because I thought they would be brighter. They are very dim and really don’t provide much light out front of my house. I thought I could possibly upgrade the bulbs but was told no. It turns out they are only 10 lumens. Also I ordered a total of 12 and 2 are not working.

Nice lights… but shade reduces capacity (as expected)
These seem to be well made. The clear panels surrounding the bulb are actually glass (not a clear plastic). The black materials on the lights are plastic, though. Probably not a big deal… should hold up fairly well outside. Each light comes in three pieces. First, the light assembly itself (including removable top with solar panel, bulb, and battery). Next, there is the post that attaches to the bottom of the light assembly. Lastly, there is the pointed stake that attaches to the post for insertion into the ground. The instructions caution against using a hammer when inserting the stake into the ground (a good thing), and suggests using water to soften the soil if needed. The soil where I placed my lights was already soft from rain, so I had no problems inserting the stake into the ground. The light assembly and the post together are approximately 12” tall. The stake is fully inserted into the ground and does not add to the height. With items that are short (like these are), it is difficult to get them in straight. I highly suggest using a level to help. A stake that is just a little off from being perpendicular to the ground really makes the entire assembly noticeably crooked. And, since the stake is a separate piece from the post, you cannot simply grasp the post to remove the stake. The stake will stay in the ground and you’ll need to use pliers or some other tool to pull it out. I think a better design would have been to have the post and stake as one piece. Or, at least make a way to secure the two together better so that the stake wouldn’t pull out if you need to reposition it.Instructions are straightforward. There is a plastic tab that prevents the battery from being activated before first use. This tab must be removed before you charge or use the lights. The instructions mention the need to install the lights in a location that “allows the solar panel to receive direct sunlight. Do not locate the product in shaded areas as this will significantly reduce performance.” If you experience short run time, the troubleshooting section suggests that you “ensure that the solar light is located in an area where it can receive the maximum amount of full, direct sunlight every day.” Be mindful of this as you’re planning your installation. At our house, literally every area of our yard and the perimeter of the house is shaded at some time during the day. There is no place where we would want to put these lights that would have full sun all day long.On the day that these were delivered, I was able to assemble them and install them outside by about 1:30 in the afternoon in our back yard. It was a sunny day, and the solar panels received a mixture of periods of full sun and, at times, shade from the trees. The lights came on about 7:55 p.m. When I retired for the evening at about 10:30, they were still going strong. When I checked again at 6 a.m. the next day, two lights were still glowing (though dimmer), and two lights were not lit at all. On the second day, the lights turned on at approximately 8 p.m. The day had not been full sun… there were periods of clouds and sun. The lights did not seem as bright as they had been the first night. I suspect that the batteries did not fully charge. At 10:30 p.m., the lights were still lit; by 4 a.m. (next time I checked), all lights were out. It appears that the installation location that I selected is not optimal for charging (I would expect similar results for other solar powered lights). That’s OK, though, as I don’t need to have the lights lit all night long. I just want them for mood lighting when we’re sitting around the patio.I’ve attached two pictures showing the lights on at night in the dark. The pictures are misleading, though. The lights are actually a soft, yellowish, light. The pictures make the light look stark and bright. The light is actually very pleasing and relaxing… very similar in color to a candle flame. The lights each come with a rechargeable 1.2 volt AA nickel metal hydride battery already installed. The instructions recommend replacing the battery in each light on an annual basis.Overall, I would rate these as 4 stars (taking a point away because the stake and the post separate too easily when relocating). I would recommend these to a friend, with the caveat that the sunnier the location the longer the lights will stay on each evening. Any shade during the day will adversely impact the length of time that the lights will stay on each night. If you find this review helpful, please click the “Helpful” button below. Thank you.
