Holy...WOW. I am HOOKED. Hooked, line and sinker on all of the words. On this amazing world. It’s been a while since I’ve read this genre and I’m realising it’s time to dive back in. I love it when a book surprises me but I love it even more when it makes me fall head over heels in love and completely immerse myself in its story. A Fate Of Wrath And Flame did both for me. It is an amazing fantasy romance with action, suspense, romance and unique characters you can’t help but root for. Everything about this book is intoxicatingly addictive!Slow burn romances, when done well, are so incredibly enticing and thrilling, and A Fate Of Wrath And Flame had the perfect pace. It’s a thrilling ride from start to finish with lots of action and excitement, and a whole lot of feels. Romeria and Zander are absolutely fabulous characters; I loved their dynamic, the way they played off against each other, their entertaining power plays and the openness and rawness of what they felt for each other.The story moves at a great pace with lots of twists and turns along the way and I was captivated the whole way through. There’s a wonderfully developed cast of side characters – both good and evil – who bring so much to the story. With this book K.A. Tucker has created an epic story filled with intrigue and incredible main characters in a well-developed fantasy world, and then given us heaps of action, excitement and intrigue, fun and snarky banter, and a chemistry-filled, intense and passionate romance. I absolutely loved it!

Slow burn fantasy romance 4.5 stars.I’ve been a fan of KA Tucker for years, and I went into this book pretty blind, which I think made it a completely new experience!I love the ties this book brings from the fantasy world to the contemporary world! The world building that an author has to do in the first book of any fantasy series is a huge undertaking. KA Tucker easily brings the reader into this world.This author has a way with creating such complex characters, and writing them in a way that the reader cannot help but love them.This is the first book in a series, and leaves off at a cliffhanger. I’m definitely looking forward to where she takes these characters and the world she has created!

KA Tucker's first adult High Fantasy novel was so fantastic! This 500 paged book had me hooked from the get go after seeing our main character Romeria or Romy thrown into quite a predicament!I don't want to say much because honestly I think this book is best if you go in blind! Just know you will have lots of questions and the answers will be spread like breadcrumbs cleverly throughout the journey which is always so exciting!This is packed with mistaken identities, magic, mystery, a broody but HANDSOME King. ZANDER! The romance is a major slow burn that has lots of heated chemistry and angst 🙌😍. I was rooting for them big time!💖What I loved:•From Blood and Ash vibes•mistaken identity plus secret missions•packed with action, magic and MYSTERY•kept me on my toes and wanting more•angst filled slow burn romance with such good TENSION 🔥•our broody and mistrusting King ZANDER•Romy and her fierce, fighter spirit. She goes through a lot.•well developed fantasy worldI will say some of the chapters are pretty long but I love how thought out this was! KA did a fantastic job and I can't wait for more! Definitely recommend for fans of JLA's series From Blood and Ash!!

It has been a while since I read a fantasy romance and this story reminded me why I loved the genre! Transported to a world she knows nothing about and accused of murder, Romeria’s life is now in the hands of a King who despises her and her supposed family. A thief in her former life, Romy is used to deceiving those around her to get the prize but never has she been so out of her element with a King like Zander. This story develops in a way that allowed me to be immersed without feeling too overwhelmed with the world building since the heroine Romy is also not from Islor. There is a lot to learn about the new kingdom, the fates and all that their power entails, but we learn right along with Romy, making me love her strength and determination to survive.“The king may still love whoever he thinks I am, but he also just sentenced her to death.”A hate to love trope woven within the fantasy world gives this slow burn story loads of sexual tension. King Zander definitely does not want to have feelings for Romeria and fights his lust for her at every turn. I loved watching him slowly begin to trust her and see that she is nothing like the traitor she is presumed to be. There was plenty of mystery and intrigue surrounding who murdered the former King and Queen of Islor, adding a great suspenseful element that kept me guessing who could and could not be trusted. With everyone vying for their chance to rule the land, trust is in short supply and Zander and Romy must rely on each to save everything that is dear to them. I’m excited to see where this story will lead next, consider me hooked!

I really enjoyed this book and thought it had a really original concept. I’m looking forward to the next instalment

I took some time to get started but when it did, oh boy did it grip me. The ending leaves you begging for more.

I really enjoyed this book! It has an interesting storyline and I'm intrigued to see where the next book goes.

From the very first chapter I was instantly hooked! K.A. Tucker you have created a masterpiece with this one. Even after finishing A Fate of Wrath & Flame, I already wanted to read it again! As I'm writing this review, I'm having a hard time writing this because I didn't want it to end. I've always loved K.A. Tucker's books and this has been no exception, I loved all the characters especially Romeria and King Zander. Plus its about one of my favourite genres of enemies to lovers. If you loved From Blood and Ash, you will fall in love with this book as well. Also very glad for a pronunciation guide.This story and world building is so well developed, I was so happy that K.A. Tucker has written another fantasy because she is a great author! You will really love Romeria, who is a mastered thief and is chosen to go to a different realm of opposing thrones and magic! She was such a fun character, that you can not help but go along for the ride. There were so many challenges for her throughout the entire book! I really loved how unique the story was, then throw in a beautiful slow-burn romance made me more consumed with the story.Also the cover is gorgeous!! I absolutely love this cover!! Overall, you need to pick up A Fate of Wrath & Flame immediately and get ready to fall in love with the entire world that K.A. Tucker has built on May 25th! You will not regret it!

I am a big fan of fantasy as well enemies to lovers romance books.I really like almost all of the books from K. A. Tucker, I think she is an amazing and talented writer. She didn't disappoint me this time as well. A very well thought out world of fantasy that will take you to a wonderful adventure with amazing characters. I really like the fact that as a reader, I know fantasy setting is detailed and well thought out so you don't have to be afraid there will be a hole in the plot. I like that feeling.Sizzling hot chemistry between the characters and I really like Romeria she is an amazing character!!
