Q: Will the hat and gloves fit an adult?

No. It was the perfect size for our 8-year old grandson but we had to purchase our hats separately. The gloves that come with the Small Size adult costume (tux jacket w/tails, slacks, cummerbund and hat) will fit an adult but the hat is cloth and flimsy.
