Very happy, camera works well, doorbell could be louder I very often don't hear it despite living in a small flat.

I called tech support as I have been having non stop issues, the delay between pushing the bell to a notification is too long, people have walked off by the time I connect. The trial they clearly offer is not available too all. New customers only. And the unit keeps going online offline. Tech support have not been supportive enough to resolve any of the issues. Soon happy to ripped out all the camera units and dump them and the brand. Utter rubbish and no convenience here to be found.

It works. Expensive however, as I had to get an electrician to install it as it wasn't easy for me. Once connected though, it really does make you feel a little safer. I had to spend an added £80 to install so in total something like £130 was spent for making me feel a little more secure in my own home. Definitely worth it!

Overall happy with this door cam and is great value. It does the basics well so I have awarded it 4*. However, you should be aware of certain limitations.Fixed this to my existing old door bell wiring, but unfortunately insufficient voltage to make my old door bell work. ERA don’t make a door chime accessory for this and the chime volume on the ERA hub is so low you can’t hear it any other room. So had to buy a separate simple door bell chime system as well. The chime on the mobile phone can be loud and is near instant most of times.Haven’t used it like an intercom with someone at the door. Speaker on chime not all that loud and there is a delay.NOTE THAT the motion detection notification for your mobile phone can only work if you subscribe to their cloud. Before I bought this, two ERA customer services personal told me that you could receive motion detection without subscribing to the cloud. The app allowed you to set motion detection on with motion recording off, but it won’t work unless you subscribe to the cloud; so this is what I have costing around £2 per month. One other thing, once you have been alerted with motion detection, the system will NOT ALERT you again until 15 minutes have past. I think this a ridiculously long interval. (On my Fosscam system I can set the interval period!!) However it does continue to record motion detection in 30 second slots.I had to switch night vision off as it consumes more power which my existing wiring does not allow – the doorcam stops and needs to be reset. As I already have security lights around my property I don’t need night vision.False movement detection is minimal, thank goodness.I have deducted one star because of the false info I was given re motion detection notification and the 15 minute interval lag.

I ordered this because it should have been easy plug-in power supply, as shown in the product pictures. It arrived with an open ended cable which meant I would need to buy extra Bell transformer and installation enclosure. Also, mounting back plate was missing.Returned it next day, now I have to search for another suitable video-bell.

Great bit of kit for the cost and very slim line compared to other brands equivalent. Would Definitely recommend

Really poor installation instructions. No indoor chime unless you purchase it separately.I am having massive problems installing this on my phone. It is displayed but no audible notifications.I would not recommend this unless you have a professional to install it
