Don't use it in hot weather
Good stuff - I'm using it instead of putty with window beads by lining the inner face of the bead but leaving the tape on until glazing is installed (much tidier and weatherproof).Big tip: put it in the fridge before use, or as others have noted the butyl will escape it's backing tape, stretch and be a pain to work with.

Effective but needs patience!
This tape served its purpose ideally to provide a seal between overlapping roofing sheets and it has prevented water ingress. Generally easy to apply once you have the knack - do not rush it! Despite this, I would recommend it.

Poor packaging item damaged. Tape squashed and stuck to cardboard. Couldn't peel continuous strips.
Damaged stuck to itself. Used it to glaze a window.

cheap and messy to use
Never used this before but I'm sure its not suppose to come away from backing paper so easily. Very hard to work with had to put down in 30cm sections due to this. Its cheap but took my time and did the job. Dont think that I will need to buy this tape again but if I did I would spend a bit more to get better quality tape and get the job done quicker and easier.

1mm thick, Stick better to paper than any other surface
I stick it to clean surface and did not want to stick. Try other surfaces bearly stick anywhere. Than tryied to take paper bit from the other side and whole tape is comming out. Thickness of it is 1mm or less. For me waste of money.

Good idea...poor application and a lot of waste product
Roll of Tape arrived distorted so much the Butyl rubber had separated from the peal off backing tape. when applying I had to stop every 300mm to re-attach the rubber to the jointed area. Would not recommend this product.

Besser als erwartet!
Ich nutze Bitumen für so vieles, wie zum Kennzeichen abdichten, Kabel zu isolieren usw..... Dieses Bitumenband ist Qualität super! Es haftet sehr gut und lässt sich bei geeigneter Temperatur wunderbar verarbeiten. Empfehlenswert!
