I absolutely love this product. It is convenient in so many ways. Keeps me cool at work, on my walk and especially during my workouts. It has been a life saver during the summer, when the heat gets too unbearable, and the A/C takes a while to start. I have even recommended it to my co-worker, who has fallen in love with it as well. My only con is that - I have a big/wide neck, so it does not necessary blow the entirety of my face, just the sides of my head. Despite it all, it still does a terrific job of cooling me down.

I bought this fan mostly to use during a 10 day music festival we go to every year in August and it worked great last year during that festival. It held it's charge, lasted all day it varying speeds. But this year on the different occasions I've used it I've had it on full speed, when full charged, and it's only lasted for a little over 3 hours, much shorter then descriptions in the ad and much shorter then the events I was attending in 90+ degree heat. I was not happy. Very disappointed in this product and the fact that I had to purchase another fan prior to the music festival this year so I don't melt. Should last longer then a year without degrading.

If you're in a hot muggy climate then it doesn't really help but push the hot air around. Anything over 90 renders this pretty useless imo... I mean it is a fan. I also find it a little uncomfortable after wearing it for a while, not because of the weight but the air tends to blow into my ears. My neck is maybe a 16-17 so it fit me just fine. I just wouldn't wear it for hours on full blast.

I was taking a 3-week vacation to Europe. The temperatures were exceptionally high. Along with their humidity, I was worried about being miserable. I am very uncomfortable with any humidity, so I needed to deal with the temperature. The design is perfect, air blowing up on my face and on my neck. The one drawback is that it makes your neck (where it rests) hot and sweaty. My daughter asked to borrow it and she had the same complaint. Because of this, I didn’t use it as often as I would have liked. Maybe I can figure something out so the plastic isn’t resting directly on my skin.

Went on a trip to a place that was much hotter and more humid than my body is used to or likes. This saved me from feeling sick and having to opt out of activities with family. It seems that if I can keep my face and head cool, the rest of me can tolerate heat around me better. The neck device charged easily and stayed charged all that I needed. I recharged to make sure it didn't run out when I felt I would need it, but it never ran out of power while I was using it. The three speeds were great, too. While it isn't very noisy, the sound it does make is close to the ears, so it can make it a little hard to hear conversations. It's quietest on low speed and that was usually sufficient when trying to talk to someone. It was a lifesaver on our trip!

is it like air conditioning for your neck? absolutely not, but it will help cool you off. i had to dig a trench under my house in the middle of summer and these neck fans helps to keep us cool in the humid no airflow area under the house. some people say they do absolutely nothing to help cool you off, which is perhaps true in some situations like if you are out in the sun and your neck is burning in the sunlight, these can't help cool you off in situations like that but in places where there is no airflow or you are in shaded areas this most certainly will help cool you off.

It works well for a person who is always hot. My only complaint about it was that it is bulky and I wish it blew out both sides (top and bottom) but it worked great for needing to cool down. Very quiet and easy to charge. I used it for several meeting nights before I have to recharge.

I am 60 yrs old, have MS which makes me heat intolerant, and I'm always hot! I take this everywhere! I use it in the garden, I use it in the office, I use it in church. The charge holds a long time and I highly recommend it. I've recommended it to many friends. Don't waste your money on those things that have the little fans that hang down on either side. I went through 2 of them before I found this and I tossed the only one that didn't break. Get this if you struggle like I do!!!
