Powerful computer in a small package
This is an excellent and powerful little PC with an Intel i5 Processor. This unit has 16GB RAM and 500 GB SSD Drive. I've purchased over 100 Beelink PCs in the past two years and have had only one failure. So, in terms of reliability, I give this PC an A+.The front panel features the illuminated power switch, an audio out port for speakers or headphones, a USB C port, and (2) USB 3.0 ports. On the rear of the unit, there is an RJ45 port for a network connection with CAT5/6 cable, a pair of USB3.0 ports, (2) HDMI ports, and the power in port. For the majority of PC requirements, these ports provide ample connections. With (2) HDMI ports, it's possible to drive (2) monitors with this little PC. In fact, (2) HDMI cables are included in the box.PROS: - Compact, footprint is only 4 inches by 4 inches - Reliable - Affordable - Dual monitor capable - Windows 11 is preinstalled - Easy to setup - Compact packaging - Powerful PC for size - Includes all necessary ports for most applicationsCONS: - None that come to mindConclusion: It's hard to go wrong with this little workhorse. Recommended.

Great performance, but quality control and support are lacking.
I've switched over to the Apple ecosystem for most things. But still wanted a budget PC around, for a couple of Windows-only applications and some light PC gaming. This mini PC, basically the Windows version of a Mac Mini, seemed like a good choice to fill that gap.THE GOOD:The performance is really surprising. I'm not crushing the thing with demanding AAA games, I play those on a console. But this device handles Blizzard games, and various Steam indie games, with no issues whatsoever. Startup time is just a few seconds, and Windows is a snappy as on any consumer grade laptop. I was able to install Visual Studio and do some light software development, which I wasn't expecting at all.Inexplicably, the device comes with Windows 10 Professional instead of Home edition. I'm not sure why, and I don't need any of the extra features in Professional edition. But you still hardly ever see this on a consumer grade PC, so it is impressive.Lastly, the form factor and look are great. It's about "desktop mouse length" in both directions, and about as tall as a desktop mouse. Looks more premium than it is, and disappears out of the way on your desk. Convenient USB ports on both the front and back sides of the unit. It does have an internal cooling fan, but it doesn't seem any more loud or busy than you would find on a normal PC laptop.Has two HDMI ports, and comes with HDMI cables for both! You never see that. I was a little frustrated when I found out, because I had ordered an HDMI cable separately. Can't be mad about that, though!THE BAD:After a week or two, the on-board Bluetooth went out. I looked for driver updates, and discovered that support for these products is virtually non-existent. Beelink has a web forum, but when I tried to register for it, I never received the email to verify my email address. The drivers on their website are the exact same files that come in a folder on the device's hard drive (exact same byte sizes), so there's been no updates from them since the device was launched. Reading other user posts on the "support" forum, I tried downloading a driver manager utility from Intel (since most of the chips in this device are Intel-based). But none of the driver updates that it found helped bring the Bluetooth back to life. In other forum threads about this, if Beelink responds at all then it's just to shrug and tell the person to return the device to the seller for a refund.By this point, I had sunk a lot of time into getting the device setup and all my software installed. So since Bluetooth USB dongles are about ten bucks these days, I just got one of those and disabled the built-in Bluetooth. Not the end of the world, but the experience certainly was frustrating. On one hand, these mini PC devices are only half the price of an Apple Mac Mini. On the other hand, a consumer-grade Lenovo, HP, Dell, etc laptop is only half the price of a MacBook Pro. But I've never had a hardware failure on a Lenovo laptop two weeks after buying it. And if I did, then there are real support channels I could deal with. So I'm not sure that the price is an excuse for the lack of QA and support with these devices. It's hard to go any higher than 3 stars, and I would recommend that other buyers give it a week or two to "settle in" (in case you have to return it) before you invest a lot of time and setup.

Disappointing Issues and No Tech Support
I have an older Beelink i3, 5th gen model. It has worked flawlessly and is a great back up. So when a recent windows update bricked my desktop, I thought to get a more powerful Beelink. For the most part, the SEi8 has been okay. But two very disappointing Issues. First, an issue that is discussed numerous times in the Beelink forum - a clicking sound from the audio, when using the 3.5mm headphone port. http://forum.bee-link.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=71766 I have a computer speaker system that I plugged into the 3.5mm port. I noticed when scrolling through twitter that any time I scrolled over a tweet with video, I would hear a loud crackle and pop from the speakers. On youtube, anytime I would click on the progress bar to go to a different part of the video, I would hear the crackle and pop. Very annoying. And there doesn't seem to be a fix. I downloaded the latest drivers from the Beelink web site and it's still an issue. It was so bad that I bought a USB adapter with a sound card and 3.5mm port, to plug in my speaker system, and uninstalled the Everest Audio Effects device in the device manager. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08XLQQ5H8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 At first it seemed to completely resolve the issue, but I recently noticed that there is still a very low level (just loud enough to hear it and be annoyed) clicking that occurs a few times EVERY MINUTE. And with a mini PC with limited USB ports, it's absurd to use one for audio because of an audio driver issue. The issue doesn't seem to happen when intentionally playing audio like a video or a tweet with video - there is no crackle and pop during playback. And the issue doesn't seem to happen using a bluetooth speaker. Only when using the 3.5mm port. If you plan to listen to headphones using the Beelink, this may be an issue. The second issue is that the auto-on setting in bios doesn't seem to work. I set it as instructed online and it does not work. It also seems to be a common issue.http://forum.bee-link.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=72066&extra=page%3D1Finally, the lack of tech support is disappointing. I tried to sign up for the beelink forum a dozen times but never received a confirmation email that would allow me to post and ask questions on the forum. And reviewing the forum, it seems to be hit or miss as to whether they will respond to a question. The computer works well from a processor and memory standpoint. The space to add a SATA drive is well though-out and easy. The noise level from the Beelink itself is very low, but I downgraded because of the audio issue, which is noise to me. Oh, the USB ports are upside down, so the logo on your wireless keyboard dongle will be upside down, if that bothers you. But the USB ports work fine. But having a low-level clicking remind you literally every minute that there is an unresolved audio issue is annoying. Having the auto-on not work is disappointing. Having no tech support is disappointing. Like I said, I bought this Beelink because I had an older one that worked great. Very disappointed in Beelink for releasing this product with issues and not resolving them quickly. I still have time to return it and I'm seriously considering doing so.

Uninstalled Windows and installed Linux
I use this computer as a server for backing up information. It was easy to use when I got it but I immediately uninstalled Windows and installed Linux, so the distro that is on this is no longer applicable for gaming or tech support.I am the tech support.Anyways, I've been looking for a mini computer for a while and this seems to have done the trick. I enjoy it's small form factor and I would use it more in a multitude of other ways if I wasn't using it solely and exclusively as a Linux server.
