Best repair kit that you find for this money. Shame that is found only in America. I used this kit to fix an rusian Optimus *R clone. Superb camping stove.

Not so great for older SVEA 123
For us old timers there is almost an emotional attachment to the trusty SVEA 123. I bought mine in the early 1970s and it never failed for years of backpacking camping. Like many of the toys of our youth the two stoves spent the last couple of decades in the box of "Things that cannot be thrown away." That is until I needed them after a recent snowstorm induced power loss. The stove performance was anemic and definitely not up to their past performance so I ordered the Optimus repair kit. The kit looks like the real deal and the parts I needed the most, Fuel cap gasket and the graphite packing. The rest of the kit "looked" right but after reassembly the spindle and cleaning needle would not engage on either kit. Fortunately the old pieces still work and I was able to get the stoves running again. In the end I paid about half the original price of the stove for two minor parts. Since these parts don't appear to be available elsewhere users of the old stoves are mostly out of luck. Pay the MAN or buy a modern butane abomination!

Bad fit for Made in Sweden Svea 123R
Bought this for my late 1970s era 123R. I had just started using the stove again after a 40 year hiatus and I perceived a decline in performance from what I remembered. Unfortunately the new parts didn't fit properly resulting in leakage around the jet and inability to fully close the fuel supply regardless of carefully tightening. I re-installed all the original parts except the cleaning needle, graphite packing & brass washer, and fuel cap seal. There is no discernible difference in performance, and as far as I can tell there was really no need to replace the parts I did end up using.

Spare kit for in the field
I purchased my old faithful, OPTIMUS 8R gasoline stove in 1974 at Blacks Camping in Manchester, UK. So like me it's getting long in the tooth. I have now decided to carry a repair kit into the field, just in case old faithful needs a little TLC.
