My kid loves it so I love it. I was looking for a while a simple spinning lamp and either they were too low quality or too fancy (with music sounds, relaxing sounds, changes in color, plugged to my phone, but... no spin). I came across with this product and it was just what I wanted. It is true what other reviews saiay about the "definition of the shape" but it is normal optics (the farther you are the more resolution you loose). The brightness is just enough to illuminate the room and fill it with stars but not too bright that disturbs my kid. Honestly, I almost never use different colors at the time but each color separately works perfect. The speed of the spin is gentle (almost matching most lullabies) and the timer works perfectly. I added a couple of mirrors around it and it creates great effect of stars moving in opposite directions. Great product! If/when it breaks I would by another one.

We bought this for our son as a night light to help him get to sleep. We had been leaving a lamp on, but having a lamp on all night seemed unsafe and kept our monitor from really showing him. This night lamp has a timer, and the ability to make it a night light too. We like both. Having a long timer is helpful, as sometimes he takes a while to go to sleep. it's nice to have all the color choices, as our son likes to pick which one he wants at night. The included power cord is also very nice, as batteries can get expensive after a while.

It works, it shines well, the led's are bright enough ( almost too bright in a dark bedroom), it is nearly silent, the power cord is a reasonable length, they supply a USB power brick with it, all seems well, why 4 stars?2 reasons:1. How on earth do I get the LED countdown display to STOP FLASHING!?!?!?! Once it gets to zero it flashes non stop & is really distracting for a toddler to get to sleep. The only thing I can come up with is a couple of layers of paint masking tape over it to really block it off.2. The projected stars, by the time they reach normal ceiling height off the top of the chest of drawers are no longer crisply defined, they are more like blobs. Now, as an Engineer I fully understand the concept of focal lengths & projection of images etc. but as this is a semi spherical dome & a good light source, maybe there is something that could be done better to define them? I don't know (not that kind of Engineer...) but it would be nice to have slightly better, not perfect, I am a realist, focus to show toddlers the star shapes.One possible improvement idea that is pretty simple: Instead of random star patterns on the dome, why not actually copy a real star map showing the correct constellations so we can teach children the stars in their bedrooms? It would add a nice touch to this projector.Minor gripes in the grand scheme, as I am overall very happy.I didn't get this for free, or a discount, I am not funny, verbose, or buy enough 'stuff' on Amazon to be one of the paid shills. I have only been offered 1 thing by a vendor & the item they sent me was nice, but I would never use it so I asked to send it back - they told me to gift it to someone. So my opinions are my own & not bought & paid for.:-)

I ordered this for my 4 month old baby to help sooth him to sleep and he loves it! The shapes and colors project nicely. I like the plug in but you could use batteries as well if needed. I also like the timer feature! When I first received this product it stopped working after two days and I contacted the seller who helped troubleshoot, but when it didn’t work they sent me a new one and it works perfectly! Great customer service and awesome product! I would recommend this to anyone with infants versus a mobile. When it’s set on the mode with all the colors they even show up during the daylight for his naps! Plus, it can grow with them! Even I enjoy it!

My son is obsessed with space and stars. He LOVES this Star night light, and we use it every night to help him go to sleep. It looks beautiful on the ceiling and includes a timer, as well as, many settings with different colors. I’m glad we found it and purchased it.

It's nice but I just dislike that the dome cover is not very durable and made of cheap plastic. I was scared of actually denting the dome if I pressed too hard. However, if you get passed the materials and maneuver the lamp, it's actually really nice. My two year old loved it and wanted to touch. I couldn't let him because he could possible break it. That's how fragile this lamp is.

This Product Worked for a total of 2 days. Then the USB cord stopped working. I figured no big deal and put 4 Triple A batteries in it. Unit turned in and workes fine. I set timer for 60 minutes. Well it ate up the 4 batteries in 2 days a total of 2 Hrs!!! I don’t recommend.

My baby wakes up at approximately 3:30 every night, and I have to rock her back to sleep because I'm not big on "crying it out." It can take over an hour sometimes! This light soothes and distracts and relaxes her and she loves it. So, I obviously love it! I love that it stays on for 95 min and I LOOOVE that it plugs into the wall! Because so many lights and baby soothers require batteries and I burn through them so fast and they are expensive. This light is fantastic!
