Look around for better value for your interest
Bought first the 256, 8GB ram and non touch screen, almost basic for $1,800 plus tax. However looking around at the bay found it refurbished with 512SSD, 16GB and touchscreen with human proximity for less than $,1200.Build: carbon plus alloy , weights under 2.5 lbs, super strong. New bios update fixes the issue with the keyboard backlight.It was worth it!

Fast light laptop
Chose this laptop as I have been using a Lenovo Thinkpad for work projects which is provided by a client. It is fast efficient, light & does everything which I expect - and probably a whole lot more. Only quibble so far is that the keyboard software is American, so some symbols are in different places than indicated on the physical keyboard.
