These shorts are super flattering. My husband says they're really comfortable and notice that he wears them out and about, even if we don't have plans to go near water. They seem pretty well made and that they will last him a long time!

First off, let me say that I'm on a quest to find the perfect mix of comfortable, good looking, and stylish. That seems to be an order too tall for the men's clothing industry. I can look good, and be uncomfortable. I can be comfortable but look like I'm out to dinner wearing gym shorts. That is, until I found these shorts.So, if I love the shorts so much, why only four-stars? Well, in order to get two pairs that fit correctly I had to order three pairs and swap one pair out. They seem to have a Quality Control issue, but I'm willing to be patient and just send them back when my 34's fit like 32's.So, with that out of the way, here are the good points:1) The material is super light and breathes well.2) The material is stretchy and doesn't bind up when you squat, bend over, etc.3) The colors and cut are very flattering. I never feel like I'm wearing old man shorts pulled up to my armpits, and They are neither too short nor too long. I like something that hits a couple inches above the knee (I'm 5'10") and doesn't feel like I'm wearing capri pants.4) The waistband is also nice and soft, so it doesn't cut into me if I've been wearing it all day.5) I suppose they are quick dry. Honestly I haven't tested it all out. The fabric darkens a bit when they get wet (splashed myself with water while washing my hands and had that whole "Did this guy pee himself?" anxiety going on) but it seems to go away quickly. At the same time, I didn't have any embarrassing sweat marks after wearing them outdoors, and sweating quite a bit, on a hot summer day.For now, this is my go-to short. I've got two pairs and soon I'll have a couple more. Just remember to be patient and return them when they don't fit right. Next shipment will likely fit you as it should!

Love these shorts and I’m frustratingly critical with clothes. Bought for hot and humid summer travel and it became my go to. Extremely breathable, doesn’t wrinkle, decent fit, although a little revealing in the front. Beats golf shorts. Plan to buy other colors.

I own a few pairs of these shorts and think they are the best. The material, fit, color and design options are awesome.

These shorts look great. Fabric is nice and they seem to be well made. For me they ran a little bit small, easily exchanged for next size up.

These shorts are great for what I bought them for, which is wearing them as shorts all day but prepared just in case I plan to get wet. Not great for swimming since the waist band is not elastic and no drawstring to keep them on. I bought the khaki color and they are completely see through when they get wet since there is no liner, I have to wear something underneath them. They are quick drying. They are very comfortable to wear as regular shorts. They stretch nicely and and very thin and light. I wear a 32 waste regularly. I think these run a little larger. They still fit fine with a belt on. The waistband is not elastic, so if I go swimming and take my belt of they do not stay up well. I would recommend buying a waist size smaller than normal shorts so they stay on without a belt. They are also quite a bit longer than I expected them to be. I am 6'1" and they come down to my knees. Just bought my third pair of these. I've worn my two pairs nearly daily for several years until a zipper finally gave out. (I'm much heavier than the manufacturer's suggested waist size...) These shorts are cool, handsome, and stay nearly wrinkle-free for long periods. They go with everything! I highly recommend them.

1. Buttons - what everyone has mentioned about the buttons coming off or missing is true. I did not have the pleasure of experiencing it falling off as the buttons were missing to begin with!!!2. Unwashable stains - what everyone has mentioned about it being easily stained and stains being unwashable is true... I had the fortune of having mine PRESTAINED in maple spots, they couldn't be washed off3. To top the experience off, I ordered blue and the gray piece came. Maybe the packer was color-blind/impaired4. Come to think of it , I'm not even sure if this was a new piece.....given the defects that it came with it, There were also no attached labels .....I'll give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt for this last point , but the first 3 ponts are a carefully curated collection of defects ... what a privilege
