I had my skepticism and certainly didn't feel like paying about $20 bucks for a conditioner bar (granted, most of the bars are around this price point). But I can tell you now it's worth the price.My hair was dyed several times, especially the ends, so it gets dry if I don't use conditioner during shower. I always have to use conditioner after shampooing my hair. I'll travel for a few months and was looking to purchase bars such as soap, shampoo bar and conditioner bar instead of using bottles. I looked long and hard between different conditioner bar options (comparing specs & reviews) and this one seemed to be the one providing the most value. After comparison, buying this one was the logical choice. Plus I personally like the coconut flavor. The item arrived earlier than I expected, so that's awesome. Before I go on the trip, I always like to test my stuff before taking them with me. So today I used this conditioner bar during shower and it's magical. My hair was smooth and silky afterwards. I think it works as well as if not better than my bottle conditioner which is Pantene. I was so happy about the result that I decided to write this review immediately.Overall, I think this bar deserves a five-star review and it's perfect for traveling. This bar is big (around 3 inches in diameter) and I hope it will last me a long time. Only time will tell. I'll bring this bar along with me to travel.By the way, this bar has the packaging showing in the pictures, that's it. No plastic wrapping.

I was looking for a bar conditioner since I'm trying to reduce my use of plastic bottles. I tried the conditioning bars from LUSH and was really displeased but how much I had to work into my hair, only to not have the satisfaction of the softness that I would get from a traditional liquid conditioner.This one is different, though! It has the nice "slime" that conditioners have to know you've effectively worked it into your hair, and it took significantly less "swipes" than the LUSH brand bar. The coconut oil also made my hair silky and shiny. The smell is strong out of the box, but pretty mild on your hair and didn't really have much lingering fragrance.Unfortunately, once the bar pieces get smaller, it becomes a lot more difficult to work with -- this might be true for any bar? -- but I find that I suddenly have to spend a lot of time trying to work it in and the conditioning effect seems less... effective? That being said, I'm going to buy it again since it worked so well in the beginning and I haven't found anything better.Recommended!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this bar conditioner, but I love it. I have fine, curly hair, and absolutely need a detangling conditioner. I’ve been trying various bar conditioners for travel, and they all left my hair very difficult to comb. There was just no detangling power. This conditioner leaves my hair soft, and most importantly, detangled. It is perfumed, but the scent is not overpowering. This bar now lives in my suitcase.

I have been using the same bar of this conditioner since DECEMBER 2018, and easily have another 4 months left. Amazing product, adds a shine you can't get any other way (my Aunt asked me how I got my hair to look so silky and shiny).I have thin, grey hair, and with this product (and a natural shampoo I use Organic Conditioning Shampoo by Très Spa | Solid Shampoo Bar | 100% Natural | Vegan Friendly | Eco-Friendly (Lavender Chamomile) my hair has never, ever looked this good (even when I wasn't grey.)If you want your hair to absolutely shine you will love this product. It isn't like what you get in a bottle, so it will take some time to get used to, but you will be so glad you made this purchase!

I’ve been using this bar for 6 weeks. It definitely conditions and made my hair very soft and shiny. It also smelled amazing! However, not long after starting to use it, I started breaking out with acne all along my hairline, and even some on my scalp. It was the only thing I had changed in my product routine. I’ve tried using it only on the ends of my hair and not my scalp, using less of it, and rinsing my hair for much longer than I normally would. No change. After doing some research, I found that sulfate and panthenol ingredients can cause these types of breakouts for people with sensitive skin, which is definitely the case for me: After not using it for the past week, I’ve seen an improvement in the breakouts. If you don’t have sensitive skin or react to these ingredients (as they are typically safe) then this bar could be a great choice for you! It just isn’t working out for me.

Hard to use. Since it doesn’t lather, couldn’t tell how long/how many times to keep rubbing the bar on the hair. Didn’t do any frizz control or shine or soften or anything like it had promised. Of course, the price is steep for a tiny bar.

This is perfect and a really good deal! It’s about 4 oz for about $20, way cheaper than similar bars that are only 2 oz (Ethique, I’m looking at you 👀). Cut it in half to keep it dry and so it lasts longer. I use it to shave and for my hair. It’s really rich and keeps my waist length hair moisturized, but not heavy. I sometimes pass it over my hair once or twice without rinsing as a leave in too, if my hair felt dry. Since it’s solid, it coats hair well, which is super helpful since I only wash my hair two or three times a week. Update: they switched to plastic free packaging😊! Highly recommended.

Fantastic conditioner for your hair. This bar also works very well to moisturize your skin post shave and takes off all deodorant without having to scrub (important for those with sensitive skin / underarms). Bar is long lasting too - just keep it out of the water when not in use (don't leave it in a soap holder that will keep it wet - make sure it can dry between uses for maximum uses). Great product. I cannot recommend it enough!!
