This Book Has Already Made A Difference In My Business Mindset
I love this book! It is like the author is sitting in the living room with me talking straight to me. I have been in sales all my life and so some of this was stuff I have practiced a lot--but it is always great to get a reminder from a refreshing source. I especially liked the parts about how to fish in other people's ponds and for that matter--the ocean! Living in this new, highly sophisticated, internet marketing world requires developing new skills--and absent having the skills, tapping into other people's skills. Great reminder that all the business, sales, and revenue imaginable is sitting right out there, within our gaze, but we need to develop ways to see and ways to attract it to us. I wanted to review the book right away after reading it, but I will tell you that I am going to read it many more times to make sure I am implementing all the great suggestions. Worth the time to read it, for sure.

Now It Deserves 5 Stars
***UPDATE***June 1, 2015It appears that the book finally updated. The author did state that an update would be available May 7th; however, it did not automatically update through Amazon. That may not be the author's fault. In any case, yesterday I opened the book for a refresher and it automatically updated. Finally. It appears that all the links and typos are corrected. Unfortunately, I lost all of my highlights, notes, and bookmarks which means I'll have to give it a second read. That's okay, though. Material is best absorbed by repetition and I surely don't mind. It is worth a second read. Bravo, Mr. Crane. NOW, this book deserves 5 stars!(And apparently the author listens to his readers. He appears to be sincere, as well as ambitious. Admirable qualities.)***Prior Review***I am not a professional reviewer, I don't know the author, and I've never read any of his other books. I feel compelled to write a review, because there are many professional readers and skeptical reviewers who are probably going to point out the obvious - so I'll sum it up for you and then tell you why this book is worth a read. So, stick around until the end of this review, change your expectations, and then give it a read. The CONS- The author claimed to be a #1 selling author on the first release of this book - yet there were no other books released on Amazon under this [author's] name- The material is littered with grammatical errors, typos - and as one reviewer put it - reads like a stream of consciousness (makes you wonder why he wouldn't hire a ghostwriter or editor for the book if he's doing so well)- The links on the website he provides in the first two chapters for the bonus material do not work (at the time of the book release)- Most of the links provided in the book either lead to sites that don't work, don't exist, are under development, or do not represent a successful author - as he claims to be- The book contains an ISBN of 0s (zeroes) and a publishing website that appears not to be functional (at the time of this books release)(Note to the author, you might want to fix some of these things and update the book content to reflect as much)All negatives aside, now we get to the good part. The PROs- It's 99¢ (at the time of this review)- While the site doesn't work, the author does provide content and steps in the book to use as a guide and plan for implementation- There is good, sound, and practical advice; reminders for even the most seasoned of sales persons who are experiencing a slump or might have forgotten some of the basic selling techniques- It takes a different approach from the usual of "always put the customer first" and reminds you to do that while working "smarter, but not harder"The bottom line and takeaway this author provides is: Don't sell yourself short when it comes to pricing your product or service. Someone WILL buy it at the price you are offering - but know your product, be confident about it, provide quality (product and service), and DELIVER THE RESULTS YOUR CUSTOMER WANTS. (Consumers tend to associate value with price, anyway, so you might as well make a good profit - as long as your product and service are par.)That is just a sample of what the author describes in his book (I dare say "outline"). So, if you're looking for a grammatically correct and orderly book - look elsewhere. However, if you can tolerate the conversational tone and read past all of that to see the key points within this book, I have no doubt it will deliver the results you want. (And, I agree with the author. If you are in a position where you can choose your clients, it is always better to choose those that you can work with. Disagreeable or challenging clients can damage your reputation or cause severe headaches down the road. You want clients you can work with. Smart entrepreneurs and businesses do it all the time.)I would have easily given this book five stars, but I think it's fair to deduct for writing and grammar when other five star books have at least met that standard and expectation.(Remember: You can always return the digital version for a refund within 7 days if you don't like it or find no value whatsoever in what he says.)

Good Book On How To Score The Big Paydays
This book had a lot of good info on how to get high ticket clients and the psychology behind the sale.Since I run an affiliate marketing business for over 13 years now sales is a big part of getting customers to hit the buy now button. And high ticket commissions are the gold standard you only need a few sales to make a nice living with higher ticket commissions.Good read!

It's a sales letter for his website
I bought the Kindle version book on a whim. Having seen a lot of content recently on high ticket sales and high ticket closing (which usually means the cost to a client is usually higher) I was curious to see what specific, actionable, implementable tips the book had.At first I was very frustrated at the constant need to push to visit and register for the authors website, the book feels like an ongoing sales push for his website. Every chapter, heck almost every other page is another link to his website. Be wary of this!!The author shares his thought that "success is 20% strategy and 80% psychology", and follows this with that your offer needs to be clear, concise and compelling and offer value to your clients and prospective customers; and that a systemised approach needs to be followed consistently; and that without action, nothing happens.Chapter 4 talks about creating a persona for your ideal customer, this is a useful exercise to do for any business; but nothing new -- who is your ideal customer, what do they do, what problems do they have and how do you address or solve those problems; how do you reach them and how do you acquire them. This is typical customer development stuff, again nothing new but a useful reminder.Later in Chapter 9, the author shares "goodwill marketing", which is offering value through bundles, extra content. One of the insights the book offers is to serve, not sell; through a strategy session; it's a discussion with a client about what identifying needs, clarifying pain points and addressing them. There are major gaps that I feel the book has. It doesn't address what a high ticket proposal looks like, nor what the experience should feel like for a client; how to address objections or how to stop discounting. Further, it doesn't look at what kind of team is need, what kind of leadership is needed; how best to communicate value through branding and how to write invoices not based on hourly fees but on a high ticket sales.I think there are perhaps a few good things in the book, but the constant need push on every page to visit/register for his website, bonuses and the lack of good techniques underpinned by any formal structure really hurts this book.

Not but, but expected more
I was convinced by the title. There are not many books out there specializing on this topic. The book has a few helpful insights. However, the author's constant reference to his bonuses on his website turned out to be a complete disappointment to me. As I accessed them: too shallow, not much stuff in there, not much value, very few templates and checklists. Loud announcements on every second page of the book that you will find it all there, but... at the end, almost nothing... zero! The website itself is too primitive for an authour, who is claiming to be No. 1 International bestseller author. The design of the book is really, really, really CHEAP. At times it looked like a coursework for midterms.I mean if you are handling the topic of high-paying clients, the book itself should be adequate - looking great, expensive, nicely printed, hardcover, inside bonuses, recommended literature, websites.I mean really speaking about delivering value to high-paying clients and releasing the book at this level... Awful.Summary: there are a few ideas to pick up, but it could have been a way better. Underperformed just to show up in a search engine on Amazon...

Well worth the cost of the book, had me hooked from the intro,
I have not been a Trevor Crane follower (because I just don't know enough about him), but after listening to a brief interview with him with Grant Cardone on the Whatever It Takes Network - I knew I had to buy Trevor's book.I just got it, and I must say it is an excellent, fast, and simple read.Brief Overview:Please note, I have never read any Trevor's other books so I am not sure if this is a common theme. While I am not trying to criticize his intentions or his skill, for those that haven't read his books before there is a lot of "excitement", "wow factor", "hype", "selling" and what a lot of people might consider "fluff" in the book. But it's full of MEAT as well.Yes, it does read very "self-helpy" for a lack of a better word. But I don't mind, perhaps because it helps engaged me while I read it.What is this book really? This book covers both big picture and step-by-step systems you can use to get what the book promises: High Paying Clients. What he does really well is organize and simplify the typical sales process, and transforms it into who can you proved a better service, and add more value during the process. One of the things I liked, was Trevor's indifference to whether or not the person he is talking with BUYS, or just gets more VALUE… and he delivers what he calls more "goodwill" to potential prospects. Trevor's description of "how" you can get these clients still has me thrown for a loop, because he does not really go into depth about it. Just where you can look or "fish" as he calls it, in "your pond", "other ponds" , or "the ocean." Kind-of simplistic, but I get it.Anyways, I really enjoyed the book, and I especially appreciate all of the additional trainings and templates that Trevor provides.

Meh...
Incredibly brief discussion on topics with little to no rationale for recommendations, very brief structure to chapters and even paragraph format, scattered layout of thoughts to the overall flow of the book (ex: "here's two things you should do - #1 do thing A described in one sentence, on a side note go to my bonus material that I've already referenced 20 times, do thing B and refer to my bonus material)... I was left with the impression that this was someone's weekend gimmick to drive traffic to the website rather than "give your best value to someone". Ironic given some of the content messages in the book.

Very insightful and practical
In this book, Trevor shares his personal experience in acquiring high paying clients. I was quite skeptical at first but as I read more and more into the book, I found the content of the book to be practical and down to earth. While it is a bit unconventional, I won't overlook the relevancy of this book to today's reality of a long term sustainable business from high paying clients. If you are a coach, entrepreneur or a consultant, I would highly recommend this book to you.
