168 FlatSider XR12 Belt Slide Holster

I have tried at least two dozen holsters, both belt loop and paddle trying to find what is most comfortable and concealable. The trouble I have with an OWB is finding a holster that isn't obvious under a t-shirt with both sticking out too far away from my body or tilting downward away from my body. I know that IWB solves this problem but that also requires larger than normal pant sizes to accommodate and my agency also requires I have a thumb break on my off duty holster. This holster truly sits snug against my body and sits lower than most other holsters I have tried which prevents the weight of the magazine from tilting the gun out and against my shirt showing the outline of the gun. I have realized that holsters are different for everyone depending on your shape and size but for me this one is by far the most comfortable and concealable and I recommend giving it a try.

My first impressions are that this holster is very well made and a good value considering the price. I am very pleased with the fit, as it only needed minimal break in to get a perfect fit. The retention adjustment screw and snap work well. I prefer leather when it comes to my holsters and there's nothing better and more important than a well made, perfect fitting leather holster when it comes to carrying a firearm. Thank you.

Very comfortable. I'm 6 ft 4 with a 34-inch waist and I don't even feel it on me. I broke it in with just a sheet of wax paper wrapped around my firearm doing about a dozen draw Strokes. Now I'm able to draw Andre holster without the grinding gritty feel.

I have 3 flatsider paddles and a flatsider shoulder rig. Been wanting one with the belt loops forever. Finally ordered one. Arrived today. Amazing. Hides well under a t-shirt. Why did I wait so long to order this holster? I can already tell it's going to be my favorite. P229R

Did my home work on the Aker holsters before purchasing. Very high quality and was easy to break in. Did have a bit of trouble with the thumb break but it turned out to be more user error than anything. Is working great now that I learned how to use it. Easy to draw and very easy to re holster and secure. The FlatSider XR12 is an outside the waistband. All my friends that see it comment on how sharp it looks and how much they want one.. This holster will definitely get used and worn out and not end up in the "holster storage drawer".

The quality of this leather holster is great. I wear it 3-5 days a week at work and have no complaints at all. I carry my issued Glock 45 in this holster.

Akers holsters are the best. Great quality. They also conform to the body well. Absolutely no break in required.

They rarely make them this good anymore. Comfortable., well made with strong stitching, fits perfect. I wish everyone made products this good.
