I have been working field service for many years. My Ingersoll impact was giving out and instead of rebuilding, I decided to get a new gun. After over 2 weeks of research, I decided to give this AirCat a try. The specs are better than Ingersoll and the few "less than 5 star" reviews, to me sounded like people wanting the world handed to them on a silver platter.I coupled this gun with Flexzilla High Flow air quick connects ( you would not believe the difference using those fittings ).This gun blew me away - - the power it delivers is amazing.The feel of the gun in your hand is very comfortable. The overall cosmetic quality is just as good as an Ingersoll or a Chicago Pneumatic product.A colleague has a Snap-On impact - - - Check the stats.... This gun delivers higher torque and more hits per second than the comparable Snappy gun at about 1/3 the price.Highly recommend.

This impact is the best one you can get for the price. I would have rated the durability five stars but the first day I had it, I had it sitting in the handle of my tech cart and it put pressure on the trigger the wrong way and it bent the pin, I took it apart and straightened out the pin with a hammer and I haven’t had a problem with it since, it’s been dropped and thrown across the shop a couple times, but there hasn’t been anything that I work on it hasn’t busted loose yet. It has scary amounts of torque. I’m not a heavy duty diesel mechanic but it has a perfect application for a small shop. When the big stuff comes in, you need a big gun, you need THIS big gun. Worth the money, worth the judgment from my coworkers, an absolute lifesaver. Stop looking elsewhere, buy this gun.

I own a heavy equipment repair company and work in the shop my self. Over the last ten years I have gone through more than a few impacts as 3/4 goes I had mostly bought the higher end IR guns. 80% of the bolts I impact off are years old or even decades and rusted. This tool has blown me away. It out performs any IR wrench I have ever owned. It breaks off 1/2" bolts and I use it to remove semi-trailer wheels that are often put on with 1" impacts. I waited this long to review because I wanted to gauge the reliability. Next month marks a year and it hits hard as it did new and has not locked up once. My 1/2 compact impact from MAC started locking up today and I just replaced it with Aircat. Right before I types this.

Before Aircat, I used a 3/4” breaker bar with a 6’ pipe for additional leverage to remove harmonic balancer bolts on Cummins engines. The add to this aircat caught my attention with the claim ft lbs of torque. I am a firm believer of this 3/4” impact tool and it has removed every stubborn bolt I challenged it with. It’s a time saver, knuckle saver and bolt remover. Give it a try…. You’ll wish you had it in your tools months ago.

I've waited to give this review until I've been really able to use this thing in tough work environments. My background is working in earthmoving machines. My work environment requires tools to be repeatable in how they run and their output of power. This impact gun works very well with the proper amount of air. Make sure you air compressor is set to proper settings. This is a good impact for the money and hits hard. worth the buy.

It doesn’t work all that great. Trigger gets locked up with pretty much a year into using it. It works like hmm 3/5 times of me trying to bust bolts, or hydraulic cylinders and some fittings loose. I rather buy a cp when this one takes a krap

Works excellent for what it's meant to do. I work on semi truck and trailers and heavy equipment and it's working excellent. Definitely enough power and I paid less than half of what a snap on impact costs, and it's just as much power. Also works as well as the ingersoll 3/4" guns we have at our shop also. I'm happy with it so far, but only had it a month and a bit.

Wad u sire about ordering an impact off Amazon. But borrowed my buddies to remove rusted on track bolts. Took em off like nothing. Got one of my own and she can take off a 1 inch rusted on bolt like nothing. Even my co-workers are amazed with this thing.

Have owned this for about a year now as a heavy duty mechanic and its a beast. The shop has a Mac but that one feels awkward in my medium sized hands and the controls are easy to hit by accident with gloves on. This aircat feels so much better in hand and it hits harder for a fraction of the price. I do a lot of suspension work and it doesn't hesitate. Don't think twice just get it, FYI the price has been going up on this tool and I'm glad I got it sooner than later.

Works well, feels strong. Product quality test verification sheet that comes with impact wrench says 1400, but they advertise breakaway a few hundred lbs higher. Not sure what that's about.
