Correct dimensions for this brand of handle
Spring fit like a glove, saving 3 doors worth of handles from going to the tip and at a very good price too compared to the price of 3 new handle sets. Would definitely recommend.

The order came in a very good time. For the Rothley Door hangle
The handle is shaped like an S and is situated in the middle of this Rothley brass door handle. One has to push down on this S leaver in order to open and close the door. The spring required altering in order to fit this type of handle. The Gauge of the spring that had broken was 3mm and the one that I replaced it with was only 2mm. It did the job but not really strong enough I feel. Just have to see how long it will last.But it was the only spring that I could find near enough to the broken one to be able to adapt.

Did not work on my Rothley door handles.
The middle spindle shape is correct but the spring needs to be 2 turns not 2 1/2.Have not seen this configuration online!

Perfect match for my House of Rothley handles
I had a few weak door handles in the house I've just moved into, all of them made by House of Rothley. The handles seemed well made so it was worth having a go at just replacing the springs. These replacement springs were an absolutely perfect shape and size (regular handle springs just dont fit). I now have fully functioning door handles and also a couple of springs left over in case of future failures. Thanks.
