I have long, thick, straight Asian hair. This hairbrush is great at detangling my locks; especially when wet. I find that with this product you must brush with more strokes because it seems to detangling the surface before you can detangle the inner hairs. I wouldn't say it cuts down on the time it takes me to brush my hair, but it DEFINITELY pulls less hair out! It is a little bigger than I anticipated, but maybe that's just because I'm used to my old hairbrush, which was a travel sized one. That's the only reason I took a star off; simply because of how bulky it is. But I should emphasize that it is lightweight, despite it's size. I'm extremely happy with the price considering I get two brushes. I leave one at work and one at home.

I bought these as a cheaper alternative to the Tangle Teaser-- which I love, love, love. I bought them because I thought I would like the handles and I didn't think I needn't to pay top dollar for the name brand again.I actually don't find the handles as useful or comfortable as I thought. That could be just me. I also really dislike the tacky logo on the back of the brushes.. (they seem more obnoxious in person than in the picture) But, most importantly, this brush does not work through my hair as easily and give me the detangling and back-combing results that the Tangle Teaser does. I bought these as back-ups for my gymn bag or my purse, so I'll still use them, but I'll buy another Tangle-teaser next time. This all may just be a matter of preference than any product flaw.. you'll need to read more reviews to determine.

These work okay, however when I received them, they had marks on the back of them where the logo is. Part of the logo had worn off and there were scratch marks. This was probably due to them being packed so tightly in a box. So when I took them out of the box to wrap them as gifts for my girls for Christmas, they almost looked second hand. Luckily my girls aren't old enough to care or I would have sent them back.

Great brush comb! My hair is straight and fine and tangles easily- this works quite well and feels nice on the scalp. However, the bibs break easily with heavy use or poor handling

I don't usually write reviews, but for this I will. I got it because it had good reviews and most of the old reviews were the bad reviews. I figured they would have fixed all the kinks by now, but they haven't. I was using it for the first time today the day I got it and it was falling apart while I was using it. It works for detangling hair but it was falling apart its not supposed to be a one time use thing! Not Happy!

The brush is dry rotted I bought some a couple years ago (I still have them and love them) and they worked great at detangling my hair. I’m not to happy this time around. I have the bristles all over my floor from where they fell out.

Not my favorite.

I do love this brush. I have very long curly hair and this brush glides right through. I bought the dual pair because my granddaughter stays some weekends and I always lose my brushes. The pink is for her and the black one is mine. I recommend this product wether your hair is short, long, curly or straight, it detangles without a struggle. Buy the pair and take one for travel. Worth the price and you'll be surprised at how well it works on any hair. Sturdy and portable, it is on the smallish size but still a great product.

My daughters use these all the time and love them. The report back to me is that they help with tangling and are easier to use on long hair than normal brushes.

Update: I give first only two stars but now I was using for a week and I am changing for 4 star. My daughter actually like it if she is occupied enough she is bit complaining . Still hard for your head skin but works well and quick on her hair . I bought that brush as a replacement so I know how good those brushes can be .... but this one Is far to much hard for your hair . My daughter have really long hair and you cant brush her hair with this brush . It’s maybe ok for short hair but I wouldn’t buy it again .

Don’t waste your money. After reading varies reviews took the chance on these. To good to be true I’m afraid. Wish I’d stuck with tangle teezer - these are nothing like them. Hard bristles and bulky. Probably ok for really really thick hair but not much else. So disappointed. To be fair the product description is accurate it’s just a rubbish product in comparison Ithaca the branded tangle teezer. It’ll do for the desk drawer/gym bag nothing more.

This hair brush came todayI have only used it once and the teeth started breaking off and i found it to be a waist of money and not fit for purposeI looked to see about returning the hair brushes. Then I found out that they do not refund on this item. I think they should as it is not fit for purpose and i feel that i have a right to return it, under the law of sales of goods act as it is not fit for purpose

Bought this to use for my toddler 3A hair and started using the second brush on my 3B hair! Works excellent on both of us, highly recommended.
