My roses that were not fertilized with Espoma Rose Fertilizer did not fare as well as those that were. The side-by-side comparison was obvious to anyone who compared the roses that I had in my garden. Espoma comes through all the time. No matter what I'm fertilizing, vegetables, acid-loving plants, fruits, etc., Espoma is my base fertilizer of choice. For my vegetable garden, however, I tend to top it up with other fish-based fertilizers to help round out the taste. Overall, Espoma is a champ! Just follow their instructions and make sure your soil is the appropriate pH for what you're doing and you will have a great flower or vegetable garden (pests aside).

Well worth the money

This is simply a great product. I first purchased it toward the end of last summer and used it -seemed to see some improvement but nothing too special. Used it again, starting applications in early spring this year and the difference in flower growth and bloom (especially peonies, roses, clematis and astilbe) has been phenomenal. (A cool spring with a lot of rain helped). My only complaint is that I have to buy larger frames for some of my plants next year!The instructions are easy to follow. One should note that it definitely smells like a fertilizer, but I tried to apply it before predicted rain which pretty much took care of of odor, which did not last beyond a day. Small price to pay for such a great product. I have recommended it to all of my gardening friends.
