Instructions say GREASE BEFORE USE -- 10,000 PSI grease pressure not enough
The grease zerk is a two part device that must have a passage for grease to pass thru. Evidently this is the new grease saving model that does not allow grease to pass to the bearings. Luckily I keep grease fittings in both SAE and Metric so I was covered after spending 30 minutes trying to get it to take grease. In addition you have to remove the wheel from the assembly to get the fitting out. Buying Land Pride branded parts may have produce the same results but would have been less stress...... A trip back to the dealer and I could have exchanged for another assembly.......
