As described
Good product. I like having the clamp handle above the neck. Works well.

The Best Spring-Loaded Capo!
I’ve always avoided Keyser style capos like the plague since owning a Shubb clamp-on. There is nothing more frustrating than getting one angled right to only have the hand grip in the way…of my hand! However, the Shubb can’t snap onto the headstock, constantly gets lost, and can get clumsy when using it live for solo performances. In my opinion this is the pinnacle of Acoustic capo designs in 2022 :). No, it really is easy to use, stays out of the way, and has the screw mechanism like the Shubb. The only issue may be with certain electrics because of the fretboard radius. The Shubb is shorter and simply handles smaller electric necks/fretboards better.Note: It DOES NOT look weird sticking out of the fretboard. The audience wouldn’t even notice at a distance and other guitarists will think “Wait, which way does my capo at home point?”

Great Item
Bought it for my son’s guitar. He’s quite happy with it, just what the seller represented.

A great improvement over the old clamp style
I have several of the D'Addario standard NS capos (screw tension style), and those are absolutely great! I used the famous K-brand capo for years, but HAD to retune when clamping those on. The NS solved that issue for sure. However, I played with someone who wanted a capoed (higher) voicing, and had a key change in a song. That was difficult with the screw-type tension. I saw this capo after that gig and tried it. Once set, this thing gives the perfect, adjustable, in-tune pressure of the screw-style with the speed and convenience of the K-brand. I also like how it doesn't obstruct your hand on the back side of the neck (just like a K-brand!) Can't say enough about how great this thing has worked when playing for different artists and music genres. Highly recommended.

Simple to use, guitar stays in tune
So…guitar capos are something of a trade off: you can get one like this that’s easy to use one-handed…or you can get a capo with a smaller profile but it requires two hands to put it on the neck.Anyway, I really like this unit because it’s designed for one-handed use AND the tension is adjustable (yes, that feature does matter). Also, I love that this capo has a built-in slot to hold your guitar pick for easy access. The manufacturer includes a little extension piece in the package that allows their mini tuner (not included) to be attached to the capo. But I don’t typically tune my axe while using the capo. Good product!

Quality Capo
Works well after 18 mo. No buz even when capo is more than midway up the neck between frets. This style does not interfere with my style of playing. That is I rotate my palm a little from perpendicular to the neck.

Very Nice Easy to Use Capo
This is a great guitar capo. I have two other generic capos. Both of those are difficult to open enough with my left hand to put on any of my guitars. The D'Addario Artist Capo requires much less force to fully open and never feels unstable and ready to fly out of my hand during installation. I have not had it fail to sufficiently compress the strings, but does not crush them out of tune. They say that it requires 15% of the force normally required to fully open a standard design capo and I think that is about right. This makes capo use a viable option when necessary. Definitely would purchase again.
