ChicoBagVITA Reusable Shopping Bag with Attached Pouch and Carabiner Clip, Compact, Designer Shoulder Tote

I bought my last pair of VITA ChicoBags nearly 8 years ago. I lost one and the other finally got a hole in it after nearly weekly use. I've put that one through the ringer, stuffing it to the brim often even with some heavy items (cans, quart-1/2 gal liquids, etc.), and never felt like it was going to break. It finally tore from catching a snag and while it didn't fall apart completely, it felt inevitable because of how I use it.Bought another pair and hoping for a similar experience. These feel just as sturdy as the other ones so far.

I absolutely LOVE this bag. It is sturdy, but lightweight. I keep one in my purse and in the car. It is compact and easy to attach to the inside of my purse or my keys if I'm heading on a walk to the store. I love that it is made from recycled bottles too! But the thing I LOVE THE MOST, is that when opened, I can put a few of my cards and my keys INSIDE of the attached pouch. It's brilliant. My kids and I go on lots of walks to the neighborhood discount grocery store and this bag let's me carry the essentials without added weight of canvas bags. It squishes right up and fits into its pouch or into our stroller basket.And to the person complaining about wrinkles, good grief. The design is based of compactness and longevity. If you desire wrinkle free, you're better off leaving it out of the pouch or using a canvas bag.I'm off to buy another one of these to keep in our diaper bag for wet/dirty clothes after beach days...

This is my second ChicoBag; my first was given to me for free as part of a promotion by a local store. Both felt very sturdy to me and unlikely to break, even with heavy items inside; the biggest difference is that this bag is a bit larger than that one. This bag fit a large box of cereal, several smaller boxes, a few cans, and one bunch of bananas plus a gallon milk-type jug without any problem. All my other reusable bags can hold *almost* all of that, but I don't think I'd be able to put the gallon jug in any of them with all the rest (especially not with my canvas bags). I was pleasantly surprised. The straps on this bag are supposed to allow you to go over your shoulder if you want, but I usually just carry it like a normal bag, and that works fine.As with all ChicoBags, when the bag is not in use, you can stuff it into a small pouch (somewhat resembling a mini version of the bag itself) that is attached to the bag, as you can see in the picture. This makes it much smaller and more convenient to carry. While some items may be better carried in canvas bags with flatter, sturdier bottoms, I will definitely consider this type of bag (and perhaps a smaller one as well for little purchases) if I need more in the future. (EDIT: I recently lost the first bag I bought and just bought another one to replace it. Even after several years of use, I didn't have any problems with it--aside from the fact that's so small and light I lost it!)

The ChicoBag reusable shopping totes are amazing, useful and good for the environment. Ordering was easy, the itemsarrived on time, was well packaged and easy to open. The VITA bag come bundled inside of it's integrated carrying bag; simply undo the opening, unfold and you are ready to fill it up. ChicoBags are made of a good quality material, not flimsy like other brands I have purchased in the past. I really appreciate the attached carabiner clip, I have it clipped to the key ring inside my purse, ready to grab and go.I took it shopping with me and was amazed at how many items I could stuff inside the bag. However, the bag gets heavy if you put too many items in it. I like to fill it up with large bulky cereal boxes, bread and chips. The handles are long enough to carry over your shoulder and wide enough that they don't cut into your hands or arms.Over the 4th of July, my family went boating and we were able to stuff 4 beach towels and slippers into one bag! On the way home, we simply put our wet and sandy items back into the bag while loading the car. When we arrived home, I emptied the bag, rinsed off the sand and let it air dry on the patio furniture. When dry, simply stuff the bag back into it's carrying case for next time.I am so impressed with these totes and the ChicoBag brand, that I also ordered the smaller 4-pack bags.

Three years ago I made up my mind to dump the disposable bag habit. At first I would regularly arrive at the store, having forgotten my cloth bags. But with practice, it's now natural to always have them with me. I went through a plethora of different bag brands and styles before finding these. While I do like bags that stand upright on their own, I have yet to find any of that style that are washable.Because these scrunch down so small, they take up little space in your purse or car. They are SO strong (no more torn plastic bags!) And they wash like a dream! While I have three other colors of older ChicoBags, these are my favorite. I'm generally an earth-tone gal, but I absolutely love these raspberry-colored bags. I now have six of them. :) They are SO pretty!

Omg!!! My ChicoBag Vita grocery bag is my favourite shopping buddy!!! I attached it to my purse strap and it goes everywhere with me!!! I absolutely love it!!! Awesome product!!! Definitely buying more of these bags. They are so convenient, compact, turns into a super strong and big bag!!! I love the color!!! So happy I purchased this bag!!! Great bag! Strong and durable. Folds up to nice and compact to keep in my purse. Was surprised how much you came actually fit in it and how roomy these bags are.

Muy buena calidad, tiene una gran capacidad y por asa larga es posible llevarla al hombro. La uso para ir al súper y resiste muy bien aún con bastante peso. Sirve perfecto para llevarla en la bolsa por su tamaño compacto y usarla cada vez que se haga una compra o se requiera cargar algo mas grande. Además es ecológica , no más bolsas del supermercado.

Good size and very strong. Compacts into a small carry bag that fits easily into my hand bag. Very happy
